The Young and the Restless Tuesday, August 13 Update: Victor’s Plot Derailed, Two Brothers Fight and Lily Suspicious

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers update for Tuesday, August 13, reveals that Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will saunter into the athletic club and join Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) at the bar there.

Although Phyllis will act like she wants to have a friendly and productive conversation, Lily will grow suspicious about her motives.

Phyllis always has a few tricks up her sleeve, so it’s easy to see why Lily will keep her guard up!

However, Phyllis will claim she wants to help Lily and will pass along some words of wisdom.

Whether Lily wants that advice or not, Phyllis may have some tips when it comes to dealing with Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson), Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and any other threats on the horizon.

Once the Abbott-Chancellor announcement makes a splash, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will confront Billy about using the family name and may act like it could damage Jabot.

Since Jabot is the true family business, Jack will have a problem with this and will clash with Billy as a result.

Of course, Billy is an Abbott just as much as Jack is, so he’ll defend the name change – particularly since he wants Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) to leave her mark on the company.

Other Y&R spoilers say Victor’s plot will be derailed, so he’ll have to reassess the situation.

It looks like Billy’s decision to step back instead of tackling more power will catch Victor off guard.

Victor was hoping Billy would be the reason Abbott-Chancellor crashed and burned, which would’ve been easier to make happen if Billy was front and center.

Even so, Victor may make a prediction about Billy creating messes behind the scenes and act like the scheme to target him will still work.

Unfortunately, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will decide something that Victor isn’t going to like!

Will Nikki bail on the takeover plan despite her previous interest in it?

Regardless, The Young and the Restless spoilers say Victor will get updates on some bad news that he didn’t anticipate, so stay tuned.
