The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Abby Newman-Abbott (Melissa Ordway) finally has a ring on her finger and is looking forward to her upcoming wedding.
Since Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) isn’t expected to be released from her facility until sometime this fall, Abby and Devon Hamilton-Winters (Bryton James) don’t plan on tying the knot in a hurry.
Instead, Devon and Abby have chosen November 13 as their wedding date.
That also happens to be Abby’s birthday, so she can’t think of a better way to celebrate than by marrying the man she loves.
It’s also far enough away that Ashley should be able to attend if her doctors’ predictions are correct.
However, a lot can happen between now and this November, especially if another happy couple decides to marry.
Could a double wedding be on the horizon in Genoa City?
Alan Laurent (Christopher Cousins) and Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) are falling head over heels for each other, so they could easily have a speedy engagement.
If Alan pops the question at some point in the coming months, Abby may want to be a beautiful bride alongside Traci.
It’s easy to imagine Abby playing up how the guest list will be perfect since she shares a lot of the same loved ones as her aunt.
Many Y&R fans are rooting for Traci to marry Alan and get her happily ever after, so marriage may indeed be in the works.
It’d be fun to watch two Abbott women get hitched at the same time, so Traci and Alan might agree to piggyback on Abby and Devon’s nuptials.
Although Traci might worry about barging in on Abby’s big day, Abby may be the one to suggest it and argue that it’d make her wedding even more special.
