Friday, March 7, delivered another eventful day in The Young and the Restless,

with Summer continuing to struggle with her lingering feelings for Kyle, while Kyle himself made plans for a romantic evening with Claire.
Meanwhile, tensions flared as Damian warned Holden to keep his distance from Audra, adding another layer of mystery to an already complicated dynamic.
Summer’s Struggle With Letting Go

At Society, Summer (Allison Lanier) had a chance encounter with Jack (Peter Bergman),

and their conversation quickly turned to the ongoing mystery surrounding Sharon (Sharon Case) and Phyllis’ (Michelle Stafford) sudden disappearance.

Jack reassured Summer that she had support and reminded her that Kyle (Michael Mealor) had been standing by her through everything. However, Summer was quick to clarify that she and Kyle were focused solely on co-parenting their son, Harrison (Redding Munsell).
Despite her words, Jack sensed that Summer still harbored feelings for Kyle, though he refrained from pressing the issue. Instead, he reassured her that she would always be considered an honorary Abbott. Their bond remained strong, and Summer promised that no matter what, she would never take Victor’s (Eric Braeden) side against Jack. Jack appreciated her loyalty and assured her that no family feud would ever come between her and Harrison.
As the conversation shifted, Summer acknowledged that Claire’s (Hayley Erin) return to work with Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) had played a key role in restoring stability to Kyle’s life. Jack, pleased with how things were settling, reminded Summer that she always had his support. But as much as Summer tried to convince herself that she had moved on, her lingering gaze on Kyle later that night told a different story.
Kyle and Claire Plan a Romantic Evening
Meanwhile, Kyle had his own priorities—his budding romance with Claire. At the Abbott mansion, he and Diane (Susan Walters) discussed ongoing home renovations. Amid their conversation, Diane made a suggestion: she and Jack could babysit Harrison, giving Kyle the perfect opportunity to spend time with Claire. Kyle, who hadn’t yet made any plans, appreciated his mother’s encouragement.
Diane, ever the supportive mother, urged Kyle to prioritize his happiness, especially when it came to his relationship. As they talked, the two also agreed that any renovations should reflect Jack’s comfort while still allowing Diane to add her own personal touch.

Elsewhere, Claire found herself face-to-face with Victor at the Newman ranch, where he subtly probed into her relationship with Kyle. She quickly caught on that he had been nudging Summer toward a potential reconciliation with Kyle, though Victor denied interfering. However, he did admit to feeling sympathy for Summer. Claire, standing her ground, defended her relationship with Kyle. Victor, in response, issued a gentle warning—reminding her that the Abbott family could be unpredictable.
Later, Kyle called Claire, eager to spend the evening with her. His excitement was undeniable, making it clear that he had fully moved on from Summer. Back at the Abbott estate, Diane informed Jack of Kyle and Claire’s date plans. Jack was supportive but couldn’t shake the feeling that Summer wasn’t entirely over Kyle. His suspicions were later confirmed when Summer, at Crimson Lights, stood silently watching as Kyle confirmed his plans with Claire—her expression betraying her true emotions.
Holden’s Hidden Agenda
While love and heartbreak played out in Genoa City, another drama was brewing at Crimson Lights, where Audra (Zuleyka Silver) unexpectedly ran into Holden (Nathan Owens). Their conversation quickly took a tense turn when Holden attempted to reconnect. Audra, firm in her stance, reminded him that she had moved on and was now with someone who treated her with respect.
Holden, undeterred, hinted that he was staying in town because of Damian (Jermaine Rivers), though he was vague about the nature of their relationship. Audra, sensing something was off, tried to dig deeper, but Holden remained tight-lipped. However, he did drop one interesting piece of information—Damian had a temper.
Meanwhile, at the GCAC, Nate (Sean Dominic) and Damian discussed Amy’s (Valarie Pettiford) potential treatment. Damian struggled with his mother’s past deception, and his emotions ran high. Just as their discussion reached a critical point, Holden arrived, and Damian wasted no time in issuing a warning. He told Holden to stay focused on business and leave Audra alone.

But if Damian thought his words would deter Holden, he was mistaken. Not long after, Holden made a bold move—inviting Audra to lunch upon his return. His interest in her was far from over, and with tensions already brewing, it seemed inevitable that the situation would spiral into something far more dramatic.
What’s Next in Genoa City?
As The Young and the Restless continues, Summer’s unresolved feelings for Kyle could lead to even more complications—especially as Kyle grows closer to Claire. Meanwhile, Holden’s intentions regarding Audra remain a mystery, and Damian’s warning suggests there’s far more to their history than meets the eye. With relationships shifting, secrets surfacing, and emotions running high, Genoa City is on the brink of even more chaos. The question is—who will get burned next?
