The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that during the week of August 12-16.

Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) scares his parents Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) and Adam Newman (Mark Grossman).

They’ve just brought him back from a residential treatment program in Baltimore and their anxious about how he will adjust to being back home.

Connor has done a good job of learning strategies to deal with his OCD, now if only his parents could chill.

They are worried about him, but also worried that news of their out of town one-nighter will get out.

The parents vow that Connor is their first priority, but both are busy working adults and cannot be with him 24/7.

In particular, Adam is working for his dad Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) who has a huge ask of his black sheep son.

In other words, Adam will be preoccupied, and Chelsea will have a lot to deal with as her boo Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) continues to be suspicious of her behavior.

Poor Connor has a lot of pressure on him since he doesn’t want to disappoint his mom and dad. Except that’s part of what got him into his current situation—when will everyone go to family therapy?

Show spoilers tease that Chelsea and Adam are concerned for Connor and it could be because he pulls a disappearing act.

The spoilers indicate that during their worries Chelsea and Adam spend time together trying to figure things out. And that is what got them into bed the last time—will they have a re-do of their Baltimore escapade?

We can tell you that Adam and Chelsea grow closer as a result of this latest situation with Connor.

Last week Adam was sad when he and Sally Spectra (Chloe Hope) relived the anniversary of the death of their baby, Ava. Which is to say that Adam is fragile, and it may not take much for him to turn to Chelsea for comfort.

As the drama unfolds, Billy watches Chelsea and Adam together and he may or may not spy an intimate moment! Billy is also on tenterhooks, being pressured to step down from his new corporation and not liking that one bit.
