The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Diane Jenkins Abbott Tells Nemesis Off
Diane Jenkins Abbott (Susan Walters) held nothing back when telling Phyllis what she thought of her. That happened at the Genoa City Athletic Club with Jack present.
Phyllis’ initial greeting and well wishes represented the entree. The main course came when both ladies traded barbs about their faked deaths.
Diane’s point about Phyllis’ actions provoking trouble in Kyle and Summer’s marriage was accurate.
Deflecting Phyllis’ comments about Summer being forced into a wrong position when concealing her mother’s alive status hit home and was followed by a fierce verbal confrontation.
Y&R Spoilers – Jack Abbott Offers Forgiveness
Jack was severely hurt by Phyllis’ betrayals when they were married. He no longer has outward scars, with the effect of her actions reflected in his defensive posture toward Stafford’s character.
Devoted viewers can subjectively suggest that Phyllis, not Diane, remains the most passionate love of Jack’s life. Fans can also debate which couple is more enjoyable to watch when compared.
However, it is fair to say that an apt comparison between both duos is unfair because Jack was involved with each woman at different times.
Yet, Diane has the leg up because she shares a child with him. That factor enabled him to forgive her for having abandoned Kyle and him when pretending to have been killed by Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott). Jack’s forgiveness for Phyllis has limits, and a reunion with her is hard to imagine.
The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Phyllis Summers Is The Phoenix
The Grand Phoenix Hotel had its day and now is gone. The setting that Phyllis came to be the sole proprietor of was replaced by the Genoa City Athletic Club revival during Y&R’s fiftieth anniversary season.
Phyllis dubbed herself the Phoenix and has repeatedly risen from the ashes. However, she is not knowingly doing that now.
Maternal instincts fueled the repair job Phyllis worked on with Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) and Summer.
In current efforts with Lanier’s character, Phyllis sees Kyle’s behavior as a projection of Diane’s classic me-first patterns.
While Phyllis tries to help Summer, her intentions toward Jack have yet to be fully known. She would love to pry him away from Diane. That attempt will likely follow after the custody issue is resolved.
