Phyllis has a knack for getting under the skin of her enemies, so that’ll certainly be the case as she needles Diane on Friday’s Y&R episode.

Diane called Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) over Harrison Abbott’s (Redding Munsell) stomach issues, which cut his trip short and led to another round of bickering with Summer Newman (Allison Lanier).

Phyllis probably got updates on that whole situation, so she may take some jabs over Diane tattling to score points with her son.

Perhaps Phyllis will act like Diane made such a mess of her relationship with Kyle that now she has to resort to throwing Summer under the bus.

Whatever the case, Phyllis will provoke Diane’s wrath, especially once the topic of the custody hearing comes up.

Diane may warn that Summer’s going to lose in court, but Phyllis may insist it’s Kyle who’ll crash and burn with the judge instead.

Over with Victor Newman (Eric Braeden), it looks like he’ll react to Summer’s SOS on Friday’s show.

Victor will indeed offer some emergency help and use his connections to work to Summer’s advantage, so this presumably involves the expedited custody hearing.

Of course, Victor may have a tense conversation with Kyle at some point. Now might be a great time for Victor to warn that if Kyle takes Harrison away from Summer, he can kiss his Glissade job goodbye!

Then again, Victor might take a “business is business” approach with Kyle and focus on playing dirty for Summer’s sake behind the scenes.

In Chancellor Park, Devon Hamilton-Winters (Bryton James) will treat Abby Newman-Abbott (Melissa Ordway) to a lovely picnic and offer an engagement ring to seal the deal on their upcoming nuptials.

Our predictions hint that it’ll take some time before Abby and Devon tie the knot, so will a long engagement be a good thing or a bad thing?
