The Young and the Restless Week of August 12 Preview: Summer’s Outrageous Demand, Time for Adam to Play Dirty

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers preview video for the week of August 12-16 reveals that Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will reluctantly meet with Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) since Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) is basically forcing him to avoid going to court.

Kyle knows things won’t go well for him at Glissade if he doesn’t do what Victor wants – and he can’t deny that reaching a custody solution with Summer is what’s best for Harrison Abbott (Redding Munsell).

However, Y&R spoilers say there’ll be a snag that affects both Kyle and Victor soon enough.

During Summer’s meeting with Kyle at Crimson Lights, she’ll make a demand that he’s sure to view as outrageous.

When Summer pushes Kyle to cut someone out of his life completely, he’ll ask if she means Claire Grace (Hayley Erin).

Summer will insist it’s someone else instead and will presumably warn Kyle that he can’t have any contact with Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver).

Of course, that’s a problem since Victor named Kyle and Audra the new co-CEOs of Glissade.

Will Kyle tell Victor about Summer’s ultimatum and get him to persuade his granddaughter that she’s being unreasonable?

Over with Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford), she’ll approach Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) at the GCAC and hope they can talk woman to woman.

Phyllis will suggest they have a lot to chat about, so Lily will no doubt grow suspicious.

At Society, Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) and Alan Laurent (Christopher Cousins) will visit Genoa City after their trip to Los Angeles.

When Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Diane Jenkins-Abbott (Susan Walters) see how close Alan and Traci have gotten, they’ll be pleasantly surprised over the news – especially Jack since he’ll love witnessing his sister’s happiness.

Once Victor pays Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) a visit at Newman Media, he’ll point out there’s a reason he put his son in charge there.

Victor knew Adam gets things done when the time comes – and he’ll insist the time has indeed come!

Although Adam made it clear that he wouldn’t resort to devious tactics against Jack, Victor may try to rope him into playing dirty anyway.

It’s also possible Victor will seek Adam’s help going up against Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) – and in that case, Adam may be all for getting down in the mud.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Victor will make some updates to his plans along the way, so we’ll bring you more predictions on all the mayhem.
