They start young with the lying on The Young and the Restless. Daniel and Heather were horrified to find out that their precious Lucy was already lying to them. But Lucy is a teen. You expect teens to lie. A much younger tot, wee Harrison, who was on the August 5 episode, has been lying to his family, too. And we think we know what he’s hiding…and who’s behind it.

Change of Mood

Harrison (Redding Munsall) was all chipper with Summer (Allison Lanier) and Phyllis (Michelle Stafford), but then he suddenly went from smiley to frowny in an instant. When Summer asked him what was wrong, Harrison said something about forgetting his bunny and needing to go back to the Abbott Mansion to get it.

But if that were the case, why didn’t he say so right away? Why did he wait for Summer to drag it out of him? Why was he trying to hide his sadness?

Mom’s the Word

Sure, Harrison calls Summer Mommy, but he’s got to remember he has a real Mommy. And Tara (Elizabeth Leiner) still loves him. Tara loves Harrison so much that she smuggled a secret phone for him, which his real Mommy can always text him on.

Harrison ran away from Summer to check. He got a message from Tara, and it made him sad. He wanted to answer her, but it would be hard to do without Summer noticing, so Harrison asked to go home and get his bunny, knowing it would give him some privacy.

Double Down

Poor little guy. We feel for him. We really do. First, he lost Ashland (Robert Newman), and then he lost Tara. After all that, Kyle (Michael Mealor) and Summer split up. And, oh, yeah, he got kidnapped.

No wonder the kid is clinging to any sense of normalcy and the life he used to lead before everything blew up. But he’s just a little guy. He wants to talk to his real mommy, and he believes that she’s the one texting him. How is Harrison to know…it’s actually Jordan (Colleen Zenk)? And she’s got yet another revenge plan!

Harrison had always been a cheerful kid, especially around Summer and Phyllis. However, one particular day, his mood took a sudden downturn. When asked about the reason behind his sudden change in behavior, Harrison briefly mentioned that he had forgotten his bunny at the Abbott Mansion and needed to retrieve it. But why did he delay mentioning this to Summer? What was he trying to hide by pretending to be fine?Despite referring to Summer as “Mommy,” Harrison has a real mother, Tara, who cares deeply for him. Tara even went to the extent of sneaking a secret phone to him so that they could stay in touch. When Harrison received a message from Tara that stirred up emotions in him, he felt torn between wanting to respond and keeping it a secret from Summer. Seeking a moment of privacy, Harrison used the excuse of retrieving his bunny to escape the prying eyes of others. The poor boy has been through a lot recently—losing Ashland, Tara, witnessing Kyle and Summer’s breakup, and even experiencing a kidnapping. It’s no surprise that he longs for the normalcy of his previous life. Yearning for a connection to his real mother, Harrison mistakenly believes that the messages he receives are from Tara, unaware that it is actually Jordan pulling the strings with yet another sinister plan in motion.Keep following us for more insightful updates and engaging content as we strive to provide you with valuable information and entertaining stories.
