Sebastian Roché Addresses Potential Return to General Hospital

It has been nearly a decade since Sebastian Roché last graced General Hospital as the infamous Jerry Jacks.
Now, the actor is shedding light on whether he would ever reprise his role on the long-running soap opera.
Leaving the Door Open?

From 2007 to 2015, Roché portrayed Jerry Jacks, the dangerous and unpredictable brother of Jax (formerly played by Ingo Rademacher,

who recently made headlines for updates on his lawsuit against ABC). Jerry left a lasting impact on GH, with unforgettable storylines such as the Metro Court hostage crisis in 2007,

Robin’s (ex-Kimberly McCullough) presumed death in 2011, and the Port Charles water contamination in 2012.
Since his exit, Jerry has remained behind bars, while Roché has moved on to various roles in television, including appearances on Batwoman, MacGyver, and 1923. However, in a recent interview with People, the actor discussed the idea of returning to GH.
A Definitive Goodbye—Or Maybe Not?
“I think it’s firmly in the past,” Roché stated. “It was a great experience, but now I’m really in the creative [space]. We have a lot of plans,” he added, referencing his work alongside his wife, Cobra Kai actress Alicia Hannah-Kim.
That said, he didn’t completely shut the door on a return. With a hint of humor, he quipped, “Who knows… Grandpa Jacks.”

Could Jerry Jacks Really Be a Grandfather?
While the idea of Jerry Jacks as a grandfather may seem far-fetched, General Hospital has been known for its unexpected twists. Jerry was romantically linked to Bobbie (the late Jackie Zeman) and Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn), but he also had a one-night stand with Dr. Kelly Lee (Minae Noji), the prominent OB/GYN before Dr. Navarro (Christina Ferraro).
Although Dr. Kelly Lee hasn’t been seen in Port Charles since 2017, the possibility exists that she could have secretly had Jerry’s child after their encounter in 2007. If so, that child would now be 18—old enough to become a parent themselves, making Jerry a grandfather after all!
While Roché seems content with his current projects, his remark leaves room for speculation. In the world of General Hospital, anything is possible.
