Real-life Emmerdale couple Max Parker and Kris Mochrie have set a 2025 wedding date.
The pair met when they both worked on the soap, playing on-screen brothers Luke and Lee Posner. They confirmed in 2020 that they were a couple, and announced their engagement in 2022.
This week, on Wednesday, August 7, Kris posted an Instagram Story revealing that their wedding date is set a year from then. “365 days, 365 things to do,” he wrote.

Max proposed while on holiday on a beach in South Africa, using part of Kris’ grandmother’s jewellery in the engagement ring.
The proposal didn’t go off without a slight hitch though, as Kris revealed in a radio interview.
“The way that he planned it as well you know… he chose a spot and hid a drone in the bushes – obviously not with the propellers on – so just the thought that went into it was amazing,” he said.

“It was really funny because the video that he put up online, he had to cut out that actually. A guy came and started begging when we were halfway through the proposal.
“I was like, ‘I’ve only got English money’ so I gave him £10 which I think is like 200 rand in South African money, and he was giving me this big story of why he needed it.
“You see him come in through the sand dune, but it was perfect and it wouldn’t have been a Max Parker proposal unless it had some comedy in it.”
Emmerdale airs on weeknights at 7.30pm on ITV1, and streams on ITVX.
