‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers here and we’re ser to dive into some spoilery goodies for Wednesday, July 17.
There’s going to be some fun moments in this one as Anna Devane (Finola Hughes)’s hypocrisy will put her between a rock and a hard place.
Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) will tempt her into giving up her life to be with him. Will she accept?
While Anna’s debating, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) will buy her time with John Cates (Adam Harrington).
We have a feeling Jason could regret this, or rather Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) will.
We’ve got the popcorn to go with the espionage in the air, so let’s dive in!
Anna has been a trainwreck as police commissioner as she gaslit Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) into staying with the police while questioning his integrity.
The former secret agent has shown she’s not good at her job as she’s done what she accused Dante of.
While Dante’s always been balanced when dealing with his father, Anna’s risking everything to help Valentin escape.
Of course, this is after she got what she needed to prove to the FBI he’s the head of Pikeman.
She’s doing this out of guilt for Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez), but there’s more.
Valentin wants her to leave with him and she’s going to be tempted. After all, she’s burned every personal bridge she had in Port Charles, so why not?
It’ll mean she’ll undo all the hard work she put into turning her life around, and that may be what makes her refuse. But it’ll be a tough choice.
Jagger’s getting enormous pressure from above to end Pikeman, so he’ll want results.
Jason has an hour and a half left of the two hours he promised Anna.
So, Jason will do what he does best and buy Anna the time she needs. To do that, ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers think he’ll try to stall Jagger by going over what they know.
During that conversation, Jagger will undoubtedly mention Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard).
That will lead to him mentioning Ava Jerome (Maura West) and that’ll give Jason his opening.
Since the writers have made Ava irredeemable, Jason will warn Jagger that he can’t trust anything she says. He may give some specifics, but in the end it won’t amount to much.
He’ll eventually concede the information Anna gave him or risk Carly going to prison.
