Tensions explode this week on General Hospital and not everyone will emerge unscathed! Carly has her day in court, Kristina gets a surprise, TJ confronts Alexis, there’s an accident at the Metro Court pool, and Ava gloats as Sonny loses his cool and goes for Cates!

Carly’s friends and family rally around her as she goes to court for her arraignment. When John enters the courtroom to sit at the prosecutor’s table, Jason, Josslyn, and Carly all glare at him. Especially Jason. Is there anything he can do to help Carly avoid going to prison?

Kristina is startled to open her door to a stranger who hands her an envelope. “You’ve been served,” he announces. But is this Molly forcing her sister to give up parental rights to the child she’s carrying for her and TJ or could this instead be part of Sonny and Ava’s custody battle?

Alexis has been trying to stay out of the drama between her daughters, but as the conflict between Molly and Kristina continues to grow, that’s becoming more and more difficult to maintain. Feeling like Alexis has been siding with one daughter over the other, he stops her in the hospital and asks, “What are you gonna do when Kristina tries to take our baby?” Alexis just sighs deeply. What can she do?

“There was an accident,” Gio tells someone over the phone from the Metro Court pool. And someone else screams: “Somebody help her!” Plus, now that Brennan is a free man, what is his next move going to be? And who’s spying on Ava?

Seeing how unstable Sonny had become while on a reduced dosage of his bipolar meds, Ava knows just what to expect now that she’s ordered the pharmacist to completely replace his pills with placebos. “He’s gonna have a total meltdown,” she gloats. And outside the courtroom, when Sonny comes face to face with John, he suddenly hauls off and tries to punch the FBI agent! Can Michael keep his father from going to jail for assaulting an officer?
