General Hospital Spoilers: Lulu & Dante’s Future Revealed – What Does Recast Mean for Exes’ Reunion Chances?
General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that fans had some mixed feelings about some recent comings and goings news. After a disguised casting call left many of viewers suspicious about a Lulu Spencer recast happening, Emme Rylan confirmed the show was indeed searching for a new Lulu.
Rylan’s Instagram story offered updates on GH going in another direction and conveyed her disappointment over that decision.
Plenty of fans were disappointed as well since it would’ve been nice to see a familiar face in the role.
It’s often hard to get viewers to accept new actors, so some might argue that GH is creating unnecessary problems by forcing this Lulu recast issue.
Then again, some fans never fully accepted Emme Rylan after she took over for Julie Marie Berman.
Regardless, a Lulu recast is indeed on the way, so we have to consider what that means for her future with Dante.
Does this mean Dante and Lulu are getting back together?
Most viewers already had a hunch that when Lulu inevitably came back, she’d reunite with Dante.
The fact that the show’s recasting Lulu might even make that more likely.
Dante and Lulu have plenty of history and used to be a popular pairing once upon a time, so it makes sense for GH to lean into all that and set the new Lulu actress up for success.
Plus, Dante and Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) are long overdue for a breakup. Sam and Dante have never been a very exciting pairing, so there’s no reason this couple should survive once Lulu awakens.
Dante’s next chapter with Lulu would be something different for Dominic Zamprogna to play – and it would open the door for Sam and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) to reunite following the “Sante” split.
In other words, there are good reasons to believe the show’s recasting Lulu with the goal of putting her back together with Dante, so we’ll bring you more predictions on what’s next for everyone affected.
There have been some rumblings about Stephanie Gatschet potentially being in talks as a Lulu replacement, but nothing has been confirmed just yet.
