General Hospital (GH) spoilers suggest that the land of Port Charles is about to explode with two major returns. Lucky Spencer (Jonathan Jackson) is set to come back in the days/weeks ahead, and with the show putting out a casting call for Lulu Spencer (last played by Emme Rylan), it’s only a matter of time before Laura Collins (Genie Francis) will be surrounded by most of her children (if Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss) is released from prison, she’d have all her kids back).
Still, could the return of both Spencer kids foreshadow another major comeback?
GH Spoilers – Why Is Lucky Spencer Returning?
GH spoilers indicate many fans have been wondering what will bring Lucky back to Port Charles. After all, it’s been a hot minute since he’s been home.
Could he have news that his father, Luke Spencer (Anthony Geary) is alive? Viewers may recall that on New Year’s Day 2022, Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) returned to town and told both Laura and Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) that Luke died in Austria, after a cable car accident.
With that being said, this is the land of soaps, where anything is possible. The last time Lucky was home in 2015, he returned with information that Jake Webber (Hudson West) was not dead, but alive on Cassadine Island. Could lightning strike twice?
GH Spoilers – The Anthony Geary Factor
Luke Spencer is a role that would be challenging to recast. Not to say that this isn’t possible; however, actor Anthony Geary has made it clear he is retired and is likely staying that way.
Again, there’s always a slight possibility that Tony could come out of retirement for a storyline, he has done this in the past, but there’s a good chance that the actor will stay put for now.
Last month, fellow GHer, Kelly Monaco (Sam McCall) visited with Geary in Amsterdam and posted a photo of it on Instagram. The actor looked like he was quite happy with retirement life.
With both Lucky and Lulu returning to Port Charles … could Luke come back from the dead, too?
