General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that a sneak peek video has been released for the August 26 episode, so let’s talk about what’s coming up. When Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) shows up at Jack Brennan’s (Charles Mesure) new office, he’ll thank her for coming as he lets her inside.
Carly will wonder if she really had a choice, but Brennan will insist she always has one and ask what gave her the impression that she didn’t.
Since Brennan sent two WSB agents to collect Carly at her place of business, she’ll act like that was her first tipoff!
However, Brennan will be his usual charming self and suggest he thought Carly would enjoy a formal escort.
Carly will admit she thought she was being taken into custody again, so Brennan will question if there’s some reason the WSB should be doing that.
“No! None whatsoever! OK, why am I here, Jack? What’s going on?” Carly demands to know in the GH sneak peek clip.
Jack will finally confess that he’s using Carly, but that’ll only add to her confusion.
After Carly asks how Jack is using her, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) will suddenly walk through the door and wonder if she’s OK.
“Jason Morgan! Just the man I wanted to see,” Brennan declares as the sneak peek video wraps up.
Of course, it looks like Brennan will essentially be using Carly as Jason bait in the August 26 episode.
Brennan may admit he wasn’t sure Jason would show up for a meeting without a little extra motivation.
When Carly is involved, Jason is always going to take notice and leap into action.
Perhaps Brennan will confess that he used Carly’s WSB escort drama to lure Jason to his office.
It turns out Brennan will have a proposal that he wants Jason to listen to, but it’ll apparently be meant for Jason’s ears only.
Brennan will apparently send Carly away before she gets updates on much of anything.
Nevertheless, it appears Carly will make a beeline to Anna Devane’s (Finola Hughes) office immediately afterward.
Carly will want to know what kind of scheme Brennan is roping Jason into and will certainly worry about the potential for trouble.
