General Hospital spoilers claim Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) is America’s sweetheart living in Port Charles. The nurse with a heart of gold has raised all three of her sons with little help from anyone else along the way, although she would probably state it takes a village.
Throughout the years, Elizabeth has fallen in and out of love with many men – some of them on more than one occasion. She’s no stranger to heartbreak or being left behind, and somehow she’s been resilient enough to bounce back every time.
But the fans will always wonder whether Elizabeth is cursed and doomed to be alone, or whether she is the curse. All jokes ahead, is a relationship with Elizabeth some kind of life (or death) sentence for the men who fall for her?
General Hospital Spoilers — Finn, Nikolas, and Jason Have Paid a Price
Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) is the most recent to have loved and lost Elizabeth, and we certainly can’t say it was through any fault but his own. That being said, he and Elizabeth didn’t have the strongest relationship to begin with.
It was only last year that Elizabeth broke Finn’s heart by lying to him and claiming she had an affair with Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss) when she didn’t.
While they were able to bounce back from it, their love didn’t ultimately last. Speaking of Nikolas, he and Elizabeth never could make it work, and Nik never could stay out of trouble.
It seems the same could be said of Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) — who may have a like-minded heart of gold but can’t stay above board long enough to provide a safe life for his sons. Are they all touched by the cursed love of Elizabeth that sets them up for failure?
GH Spoilers Leak Franco, Zander, and Ric Paid with Their Lives
Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth) was a good guy in the end, but he still lost his life while married to Elizabeth. It almost ended up the same way for Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst), who ultimately left town on his own accord.
Things haven’t been solid for him and Elizabeth ever since, and his returns to Port Charles have only brought trouble for both of them. While Ric technically didn’t die, he did pretend to once!
Zander Smith (Chad Brannon) did die, tragically, leaving Elizabeth behind to raise their son, Cameron ‘Cam’ Webber (William Lipton).
General Hospital Spoilers — Will Lucky Get Lucky?
With Lucky Spencer (Jonathan Jackson) slated to return to Port Charles later this summer, the fans are wondering whether he and Elizabeth will find themselves caught up in the memory of what they used to be.
While we’re not going to shun the idea of these two rekindling something and ending up the next ‘Luke and Laura’, we’re also not sure why they would play with fire when they’ve already crashed and burned that relationship more than once.
