General Hospital spoilers tease that tragedy is on the way to Port Charles in ways that no one saw coming. For months now, Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) has been beside herself with worry about her son, Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn) because of the young man’s similarity to his father, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton). Like Jason, Danny seems to be attracted to danger and trouble and Sam is worried that it could get Danny killed.

Agent John Cates (Adam Harrington) took Jason to Quantico where Jason was presented with a deal he couldn’t refuse. Either Jason work undercover for the FBI, or Cates would send Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) to prison for her role in the Corinthos Crime Family business during the time Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Bernard) was believed to be dead. Jason agreed, which means he let his family believe he was dead the whole time he was gone.

GH Spoilers – Sam Morgan has been trying to protect Danny Morgan

Not only has Sam been trying to protect Danny from his wilder tendencies, but she also doesn’t want the young man to know he chose Carly over Danny and the rest of his family.

So, when Jason first showed up, Sam insisted that Jason stay away from Danny. But Danny rebelled against Sam’s wishes and would sneak away whenever he could in order to see his father.

More recently, Sam has given in a little and let father and son spend some quality time together. But Danny still resents Sam a little for trying to change him.

Danny really wants to learn how to ride Jason’s motorcycle. It seems quite likely that Danny could sneak away for a ride on the bike only to be involved in a terrible accident.

Perhaps Sam will arrive on the scene first and save Danny from a fire or some other terrible fate, only to die herself in the process. A mother’s love knows no bounds and its easy to see a situation where Sam sacrifices herself so that he son can live.
