‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers suggest that Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) could wake up not remembering.
That she is carrying this child for her sister, Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristen Vaganos).
But Kristina’s fall was dramatic, as she fell five floors down from the window. It’s not hard to imagine she might wake up with severe memory loss.
Spoilers confirm that Kristina will pull through this. She’s going to have an emergency C-section this week, and it looks like she’ll survive.
Fans are hopeful that the baby will also make it, as it would be a cruel twist of fate for Molly, whose first surrogate lost the baby (supposedly).
It would be a shame for her to lose another son or daughter.
But Kristina feels bonded to this baby as well. Before she even realized it, Kristina had become a mother.
She’s not only carried this baby inside her for almost nine months, but she’s also come to care very deeply for this child and wants what’s best for them.
Kristina has already considered keeping this baby, given that she and her girlfriend, Blaze (aka Allison Rogers, played by Jacqueline Grace Lopez), may provide a more stable home.
Krissy thought Molly and T.J. Ashford (Tajh Bellow) were fighting a lot and assumed they might break up. She also never signed the papers Molly presented to her, which would terminate her rights as the mother.
Kristina could wake up with amnesia and not remember her promise to Molly, given what she and the baby have been through, and they haven’t even been born yet.
Besides, amnesia seems to be GH’s go-to solution when the writers want to change the direction of a character’s storyline.
Last year, Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) also had an accident at the Metro Court when he slipped and fell into the pool.
Ned woke up and thought he was Eddie Maine, possibly because his unconscious desire was to ditch the mundane corporate world and be a rock star again.
Before that, Sonny had amnesia after falling off the footbridge and ended up in Nixon Falls, Pennsylvania. It took him getting hit on the head with a beam that fell from the ceiling at the Tan-O when after the evil Peter August (Wes Ramsey) set fire to the bar for him to remember his wife, Carly Spencer (Laura Wright).
Even earlier than that, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) was in a car accident, thanks to a drunken A.J. Quartermaine (Sean Kanan), that left him with brain damage and amnesia. Since then, no one has seen or heard from Jason Quartermaine again.
So, it wouldn’t surprise us if Kristina pulled through this medical emergency, but the outcome was that she would have total amnesia.
What is devastating for Molly is that she has no legal claim to this baby, which Molly and Kristina’s mother, Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn), warned everyone about from the start.
If Kristina wakes up and doesn’t remember that she had this baby for Molly, the consequences could be disastrous for everyone involved.
