On the next episode of General Hospital, Nina (Cynthia Watros) will likely stir up

some interesting dynamics when she gives Sonny (Maurice Benard) something to think about. Given their complex history, any interaction between these two exes is sure to catch our attention. Nina is currently fixated on ensuring her daughter lives a

life free from Drew (Cameron Mathison), and it looks like she might turn to Sonny for

help, knowing he’s not exactly a fan of the congressman. Could Sonny’s influence help Nina in her mission, or will his thoughts on the matter differ from hers?

This conversation might not be centered around Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) and Drew, but it’s possible Nina will offer a fresh perspective on the ongoing custody battle between Sonny and Ava (Maura West). Will Nina’s point of view have any impact on Sonny’s decision-making process, or will he ultimately ignore her advice? Time will tell.

In another corner of Port Charles, Cody (Josh Kelly) continues his apology tour, a journey filled with regret and “sorrys.” He’s been messing up left and right, so it’s no surprise that he’s on the receiving end of his own apologies once again. However, it’s doubtful that Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) will be receptive, as Cody’s apologies have never seemed to stick. He might not even try to ask Drew (Cameron Mathison) for forgiveness, given their ongoing tension. This time, the recipient of Cody’s apology might be Lucky (Jonathan Jackson), given their recent altercation at Charlie’s. Or perhaps he’ll try to smooth things over with Molly (Kristen Vaganos), whom he’s been less than kind to. We’ll see who gets the honor of hearing Cody’s apology next.

Meanwhile, Sasha’s got her own set of worries. She’s keeping a big secret about her affair with Michael (ex-Chad Duell), and recently, she asked Jason (Steve Burton) to pretend to be the father of her baby so no one finds out that Michael is the real father. But just as Sasha is trying to manage the mess she’s in, something or someone is about to throw her for a loop. What unexpected twist will cause her to face a new challenge?

Elsewhere, Chase (Josh Swickard) is in a bit of hot water after a slip-up. The detective made the mistake of revealing to Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) that Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) is a person of interest in the Digitalis murders. Unfortunately, this information was overheard by Rocco (Finn Carr), who then told Danny (Asher Antonyzyn), leading to Jason (Steve Burton) confronting Cyrus at Charlie’s. Now Cyrus is more aware than ever that people are onto him. Will Chase confess his mistake to Anna (Finola Hughes)? Or will this slip-up lead to even bigger consequences?

Finally, Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) reassures Ric (Ric Hearst), possibly trying to ease his concerns about her involvement in anything too dangerous regarding Cyrus. As we know, Elizabeth recently had Ric dig up some information on the ex-convict, which didn’t go unnoticed by Cyrus. So while Elizabeth may try to reassure Ric that she’s staying out of harm’s way, it might be in vain. Given the circumstances, Cyrus is already aware of her actions, and her reassurances may not be enough to keep her safe in the long run. The situation continues to heat up as more players in Port Charles are drawn into dangerous situations.
