Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) has experienced countless transformations during her time in General Hospital.

From a con artist to a successful model, and later a businesswoman, Sasha has faced many ups and downs.

Most recently, she took on a new role as the Quartermaine family’s cook, but it may not be the best fit for her.

Given the chaos that comes with living in the Quartermaine mansion, she might be better off working at the Metro Court.

Now that Sasha is pregnant, her well-being and stability are more important than ever.

Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) still has a place for her at the Metro Court, and taking that opportunity could be the best decision Sasha makes for herself and her baby.

The Quartermaine Drama Is Too Much for Sasha

When Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) invited Sasha to take on the role of the Quartermaine cook, it seemed like a great opportunity. However, the reality of working for the Qs has been overwhelming. The Quartermaines are notorious for their constant power struggles, meddling, and family disputes. While some members of the family have treated Sasha with kindness, others—particularly Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot)—have made her life difficult.

Now that Sasha is expecting, the Quartermaines are even more overbearing. They mean well, but their tendency to micromanage and interfere in her personal life is suffocating. Sasha needs space to breathe, and the high-pressure environment at the mansion is anything but peaceful. Staying there could do more harm than good, both emotionally and mentally.

Carly’s Support at the Metro Court

Unlike the Quartermaines, Carly has always respected Sasha’s choices and shown her unwavering support. Carly understands Sasha’s struggles and recognizes the sacrifices she has made—particularly the decision to step away from Michael Corinthos (ex-Chad Duell) so that he and Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) could raise Wiley. Because of this, Carly has always had a soft spot for Sasha and would likely be a much more understanding and supportive boss than Tracy.

The Metro Court offers Sasha a fresh start and a more relaxed work environment. She wouldn’t have to deal with family feuds or unnecessary drama. Instead, she could focus on building a stable future for herself and her baby, surrounded by people who genuinely care about her well-being.

More Career Opportunities at the Metro Court

One of the biggest advantages of choosing the Metro Court over the Quartermaine mansion is the career growth it offers. At the Q mansion, Sasha is simply the cook—nothing more, nothing less. But at the Metro Court, she could explore various career paths.

If Sasha still enjoys cooking, she could work as a chef in the hotel’s kitchen. Unlike the Quartermaines, Carly and Olivia would likely treat her with respect and appreciation. However, if she wants to step away from cooking, there are plenty of other options.

Sasha has extensive business experience from her time at Deception. She could take on a managerial role, handle event planning, or even work alongside Carly and Olivia in running the hotel. The Metro Court would allow Sasha to grow professionally, whereas the Quartermaine mansion only limits her to one role.

A Better Living Situation

Another major reason why the Metro Court is a better fit for Sasha is the living situation. Right now, she resides in the Quartermaine mansion, which only makes it harder for her to maintain her personal boundaries. Living under the same roof as the Quartermaines means constant interference, especially now that she’s expecting a baby.

Moving into the Metro Court could provide her with the privacy and independence she needs. It would also give her the freedom to make her own choices without being under the watchful eye of the Q family. If Sasha chooses to work at the Metro Court, she could temporarily live there until she finds a more permanent home.

Sasha’s Future—And a Possible Romance?

With all the changes happening in Sasha’s life, anything is possible in Port Charles—including a potential new romance. There have been hints of a possible connection between Sasha and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton). If she moves to the Metro Court, it could pave the way for a relationship to develop between them.

Jason has always had a protective nature, and he could be exactly what Sasha needs in this next chapter of her life. Whether they become close friends or something more, working and living at the Metro Court could bring them together in unexpected ways.

Final Thoughts: Should Sasha Make the Move?

Considering everything Sasha has been through, making the switch to the Metro Court seems like the best decision. The Quartermaine mansion, while full of tradition and history, is simply too chaotic for someone who needs peace and stability. Carly has always looked out for Sasha and would offer her the support she truly needs, both professionally and personally.

At the Metro Court, Sasha would have room to grow, a more positive work environment, and the chance to rebuild her life on her own terms. Whether she continues working in the kitchen or transitions to a business role, the opportunities are endless. Plus, the move could open the door to exciting new relationships, both personal and professional.

With so much at stake, the choice seems clear—Sasha belongs at the Metro Court.
