If anyone had predicted a few weeks ago that Dex Heller’s (Evan Hofer)

tragic death would push Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) toward an entirely new path with the World Security Bureau, it would have sounded far-fetched.
But that’s exactly where General Hospital has taken her storyline.
With the intervention of her father, Jax (Ingo Rademacher), Josslyn is now embarking on WSB training—a shocking twist that ensures her story remains front and center.

But Josslyn’s new journey won’t be a solo one. The latest casting news confirms that actor Bryce Durfee is stepping into the role of Vaughan, Josslyn’s WSB handler.

Durfee is set to debut in Port Charles on Friday, March 7, in what promises to be an intriguing new addition to the show.

Bryce Durfee’s Connection to General Hospital
Durfee is no stranger to daytime television. In fact, he previously auditioned for several roles on General Hospital, including that of Harrison Chase, a role that ultimately went to his longtime friend and fellow model Josh Swickard. While Durfee may have missed out on that part, his persistence has finally paid off, and now he’s joining the soap in a role that could make a major impact.
Speaking about his first day on set, Durfee admitted it was a whirlwind experience. “I kind of felt like I got thrown into a washing machine and I got spit out an hour later. That’s kind of how I remember that first day. I can’t wait to see how it turned out!” he shared in a recent interview.
Durfee’s Previous Acting Credits
While this may be his first major role in Port Charles, Durfee is already an experienced actor with a solid résumé. Fans may recognize him from his appearances on Yellowstone and 9-1-1, where he honed his skills in dramatic television. Additionally, he had a stint on The Bold and the Beautiful as one of Forrester Creations’ models—a fitting role given his background in the modeling industry.

What’s Next for Josslyn and Vaughan?
With Josslyn still deeply mourning Dex, romance is likely the last thing on her mind. However, this is General Hospital, and sparks have been known to fly in the most unexpected of places. While Josslyn and Vaughan’s dynamic will start off as purely professional, their interactions could evolve over time.
It remains to be seen just how much of a mentor-figure Vaughan will be, or if he will find himself caught up in Josslyn’s emotional turmoil. For now, though, fans can look forward to the introduction of this new character and the inevitable action-packed storylines that come with a WSB connection.
What Does This Mean for Josslyn’s Future?

Josslyn’s decision to join the WSB is a bold move that could change the trajectory of her life in ways she never expected. While she has always been strong-willed and independent, her training with the organization could introduce her to a world filled with high-stakes missions, danger, and moral dilemmas.
Could Josslyn find herself pulled deeper into the espionage world than she intended? And how will Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) react to her daughter stepping into such a risky environment? With Jax being the one to encourage this path, it’s likely Carly won’t take the news well.
Welcome to Port Charles, Bryce Durfee!
As General Hospital fans gear up for Durfee’s debut, it’s clear that his arrival signals a thrilling new direction for Josslyn’s character. Whether Vaughan becomes a trusted ally or a complicated influence in her life, one thing is certain—this storyline is bound to shake things up in Port Charles.
Stay tuned to see how Josslyn navigates her new world and whether Vaughan becomes a key player in her future. Welcome to Port Charles, Bryce Durfee—we’re in for a wild ride!
