Emmerdale’s Will Taylor is driven to desperate lengths next week when his daughter Dawn Fletcher reaches out to the missing Rose Jackson.

Rose (Christine Tremarco) has been off the radar for a few weeks since Kim Tate (Claire King) uncovered her manipulative tactics. Fans will remember that Rose arrived in the Dales earlier this year as the estranged ex-wife of Kim’s husband Will (Dean Andrews) and mother to Dawn (Olivia Bromley).

It was later unveiled that Rose was actually being blackmailed by Ruby Fox-Milligan (Beth Cordingly), who is hell-bent on bringing down Kim and wrecking her life.

Kim eventually discovered that Ruby and Rose were plotting against her. After confronting Rose at Home Farm, Kim ordered her to leave permanently.

Along with her husband Will, they drove Rose to a deserted location and abandoned her there, reports the Manchester Evening News. However, the plot thickened when something seemed to happen to Rose after an unknown character found her. The individual drove towards Rose on the side of the road, before pulling over.

Rose appeared taken aback by the arrival of this character, but following this scene, viewers didn’t see the car, the mystery person or even Rose – as she seemingly disappeared.

In a mysterious turn of events, all that was found were Rose’s bag, a picture her grandchildren had drawn and a hospital letter scattered across the grass. Since then, Kim and Will have fabricated a story about Rose’s whereabouts to tell everyone, including Dawn.

They lied, claiming she had relapsed and left the Dales, wanting nothing more to do with Dawn and her grandchild Evan. Despite both Kim and Will insisting they had no involvement in Rose’s disappearance, Kim recently retrieved Rose’s phone before making a swift exit from the Dales to Dubai.

Next week promises more drama. Emmerdale spoilers reveal that Will becomes anxious when Dawn mentions reporting Rose’s disappearance to the police.

He starts fearing the worst for his relationship with Kim as he struggles to contact her. Later, Will is taken aback when Dawn informs him that Evan might need a bone marrow transplant and she needs to get in touch with Rose. Shocked by Dawn’s news, Will is tormented by the thought that they need to find Rose.

Subsequently, a nervous Will retrieves Rose’s phone and listens to a voicemail from Dawn. He attempts to contact Kim again, filled with anxiety. Overwhelmed with guilt, Will drafts a message on Rose’s phone. What will he do next?
