Emmerdale fans were recently treated to a thrilling guest appearance by Twinnie-Lee Moore, who played the no-nonsense fight ring organiser, Jade.

With her tough exterior and sharp wit, Jade made quite an impression, especially alongside Ross Barton (Mike Parr),

who made his own dramatic comeback after years away from the village.

Now, Twinnie has hinted that she would consider returning to the long-running ITV soap—but only if the storyline is significant enough to make it worth her while.

Balancing Acting and Music

Twinnie-Lee Moore isn’t just an actress—she’s also a successful country music artist with a thriving career based in Nashville.

In an exclusive interview with Express.co.uk, she admitted that juggling both her acting and music commitments can be exhausting, often leaving her with little time to rest.

“I don’t sleep, especially when I was doing Emmerdale,” she confessed. “It was awesome. I love the cast and I love all the crew, I love the character.”

Despite the demanding nature of her dual careers, Twinnie remains passionate about performing. She’s been involved in the entertainment industry since childhood, taking on roles in acting, dancing, and music. Even now, her background in performance helps with her music career—she not only stars in her own music videos but also directs and edits them herself.

Twinnie’s Take on Jade’s Character

Though her time on Emmerdale was brief, Twinnie thoroughly enjoyed playing Jade. She revealed that while Jade appeared tough on the outside, she envisioned her as someone with a painful past that shaped her hardened demeanor.

“In my mind, Jade was this not-to-be-messed-with tough girl, but I feel underneath that she had a heart and she was funny,” Twinnie explained. “To me, she was quite dry. I felt that with Jade, she was hurt by the world, and that’s why she’s so tough—she’s had to be.”

This added depth to Jade’s character, making her more than just a formidable figure in the underground fight ring. Her interactions with Ross Barton, played by Mike Parr, were particularly memorable, with Twinnie describing him as a great friend and fantastic co-star.

What Would It Take for Twinnie to Return?

While Twinnie isn’t ruling out a return to Emmerdale, she has one key condition—it would have to be for a compelling, high-stakes storyline. She’s not interested in a simple cameo; instead, she wants Jade’s return to bring real depth to the character.

“Maybe having somebody rescue her,” she mused when asked about a potential future storyline. “I loved working with Mike Parr—it was great to have a storyline including him. But yeah, I’d really want her to have more of a vulnerable storyline, but it’d have to be a big storyline to go back, I think.”

Given the complexity she sees in Jade’s character, a return could explore more of her backstory—perhaps revealing the hardships that shaped her tough exterior or introducing new challenges that force her to let her guard down.

What’s Next for Twinnie?

For now, Twinnie-Lee Moore is focusing on her music career. She’s set to embark on a headline tour across the UK, with stops in Birmingham, Manchester, Leeds, and London. Fans can expect to hear tracks from her latest album, Something We Used to Say, during the Happy Hour tour.

Though she remains dedicated to her music, Twinnie’s passion for acting is still strong. She continues to audition for roles, and with her talent and experience, it’s only a matter of time before she returns to screens—whether in Emmerdale or another major project.

Will Jade Return to Emmerdale?

While Twinnie has made it clear that she would need a strong storyline to justify a return, Emmerdale is no stranger to bringing characters back for dramatic plot twists. If the writers were to craft a compelling arc—one that delves into Jade’s past or places her in an emotionally intense situation—it’s possible fans could see her in the village once again.

For now, viewers will have to wait and see if Emmerdale takes the opportunity to bring back Jade in a way that does justice to the character. With Twinnie’s enthusiasm and talent, a return could be just what the soap needs to shake things up.
