After six years in the role, Emmerdale star Natalie Ann Jamieson has departed the beloved ITV soap following the tragic on-screen death of her character, Amy Wyatt.

Fans were left devastated as Amy became one of the casualties in the shocking limo crash storyline, marking a heartbreaking end to her journey in the village.

Natalie first took on the role of Amy in 2019, bringing back the character who was previously portrayed by Chelsea Halfpenny between 2010 and 2013.

The emotional farewell aired on February 20, as Amy succumbed to a cardiac arrest in the hospital.

Her injuries stemmed from the horrifying limousine crash that left three people dead.

In a chilling twist, she came face to face with the body of Nate Robinson, who had mysteriously disappeared from the village months prior.

As she later fought for her life in the hospital, Amy attempted to tell Matty Barton about what she saw in the water, but he struggled to understand her cryptic words. In a gut-wrenching moment, she managed to tell Matty she loved him before suffering a fatal cardiac arrest.
