Next week in Emmerdale, viewers can expect intense emotions, shocking revelations, and heart-wrenching decisions.

As the drama unfolds, Marlon’s actions lead to devastating consequences,

Steph edges closer to uncovering a dangerous truth, and several villagers are forced to confront their own painful secrets.

1. April is Heartbroken by Dylan’s Apparent Betrayal

April (Amelia Flanagan) has invited Dylan (Fred Kettle) to stay in the village after they developed a close bond.

Dylan and Becca (Becca Ashton), fellow rough sleepers, took April under their wing after she was left stranded on the streets.

Tragically, Becca lost her life while protecting April from a thief, and Dylan turned to April for support as he struggled with grief and his addiction.

Marlon (Mark Charnock) and Rhona (Zoë Henry) initially had their doubts about Dylan but eventually allowed him to stay after April pleaded with them. However, the situation takes a dark turn when Rhona discovers a vial of ketamine missing from the veterinary surgery. All signs point to Dylan, and when the vial is found in his coat pocket, April is devastated. But Marlon is secretly responsible for planting the drugs, hoping to remove Dylan from his daughter’s life without becoming the villain. This deception shatters April’s trust in her friend and father.

2. Marlon’s Attempts to Make Amends After Dylan’s Overdose

After a confrontation with Dylan, Marlon and Rhona are horrified to learn that Dylan has overdosed. Marlon feels immense guilt, knowing he played a part in pushing Dylan into such a dangerous situation. At Hotten General, Marlon pleads with Dylan to stay in the hospital and accepts responsibility for planting the drugs. He offers to pay for Dylan to attend a private rehab facility, desperate to make things right.

However, when Dylan later asks if he can visit April before heading to rehab, Marlon becomes uneasy. Will Dylan expose the truth about Marlon’s actions to April, or will he protect his father figure at the cost of his own integrity?

3. Marlon and Rhona Say Goodbye to Their Granddaughter

In an emotional storyline, Marlon and Rhona face the heartbreaking task of saying goodbye to their stillborn granddaughter, Rebecca. April, still deeply affected by the loss, refuses to take part in any memorials. Marlon and Rhona hope that April will change her mind and join them for the scattering of Rebecca’s ashes, but it remains uncertain whether they will be able to convince her to face this painful chapter.

4. Steph’s Suspicions Grow About Anthony’s Disappearance

Meanwhile, Steph (Georgia Jay) begins to piece together the mystery surrounding her grandfather Anthony’s (Nicholas Day) disappearance. Unbeknownst to her, Anthony was not only a predator who had abused Ruby (Beth Cordingly) in her youth, but he was also Steph’s biological father, a fact that complicates the already strained family dynamics.

Steph’s investigation intensifies as she questions Ruby and Caleb (Will Ash), suspecting they are hiding something. When she finds a gun hidden in Caleb’s safe, she grows convinced it is linked to Anthony’s fate. Steph’s actions put her at odds with her parents, and Caleb and Ruby must decide whether to continue lying or finally come clean.

5. Steph Threatens to Go to the Police

Steph’s determination to uncover the truth reaches a boiling point when she confronts Caleb and Ruby about the gun. Caleb tries to distract her with a fabricated story about Cain (Jeff Hordley), but Steph isn’t fooled. Her suspicions only deepen as she continues to dig for the truth, even threatening to go to the police if she doesn’t get answers. Caleb and Ruby are running out of time—will they finally admit to their roles in Anthony’s death, or will they risk their daughter’s safety to keep the truth hidden?

6. Sarah Faces a Devastating Blow

Sarah (Katie Hill) receives a shock when a pregnancy test comes back positive, throwing her life into turmoil. Struggling with the reality of her condition, especially considering her diagnosis of Fanconi anaemia, which severely limits her life expectancy, Sarah confides in Charity (Emma Atkins). After further tests from Manpreet (Rebecca Sarker), Sarah learns that the pregnancy test was a false positive. Despite the relief, Sarah struggles with the emotional fallout, realizing that this might have been her one opportunity to start a family.

7. Manpreet Struggles with Her Secret

Manpreet is facing a crisis of her own, as she becomes the target of an anonymous blackmailer. Leyla (Roxy Shahidi), in the moments before her tragic death, discovered a secret about Manpreet—she had been posting adult content online. Now, Manpreet is being threatened with the exposure of this secret, and the stress is taking a toll. As she attempts to handle the situation, the blackmailer grows more aggressive, and Manpreet is forced to decide how far she’s willing to go to protect herself.

8. Mary Struggles with Her Guilt Over Suzy’s Death

Finally, Mary (Louise Jameson) is grappling with her overwhelming guilt after Suzy (Martelle Edinborough) passed away. As Suzy’s secret relationship with Mary was revealed in flashbacks, Mary is left heartbroken, unable to express her true feelings before it was too late. At Suzy’s funeral, Mary overhears Vanessa (Michelle Hardwick) praising her for her unwavering support, only deepening her sense of loss. When a message from Suzy’s phone suggests that she had kissed someone else, Mary is thrust into further turmoil. Will she be able to keep her secret from Vanessa, or will the truth finally come to light?

9. Tracy Faces Temptation

Tracy (Amy Walsh) is also under pressure, hiding her financial struggles from her family. Having stolen over £2,000 from Eric’s (Chris Chittell) shop, Tracy is confronted by her conscience and the mounting possibility that her secret may be exposed. Her continued struggles will test her resolve in the coming week.
