Rose Jackson (Christine Tremarco), the cuckoo in the nest at Emmerdale’s Home Farm, has been making herself indispensable recently.

But as she continues to conspire with Ruby Fox-Miligan (Beth Cordingly) in her scheme of revenge against Kim Tate (Claire King), Rose is driven to take some desperate measures – and Will (Dean Andrews) has had enough.

Rose is an interesting character, as she’s genuinely started to form a bond with her daughter Dawn (Olivia Bromley) and with her grandchildren, which is making it difficult for her to carry out the plan – the exact details of which are still not entirely clear.

She’s already tried to pull out of her deal with Ruby, but Ruby has made it quite clear that she’s not about to let Rose walk away from their agreement. Rose owes Ruby a lot of money after Ruby bailed her out of some debts.

He’s had enough!

In upcoming episodes Ruby wants the plan to move forward and this throws Rose into a panic. As the two women are conferring, Will almost catches Rose. She covers quickly, and then totally throws Will when she moves in for a kiss.

He quickly pulls away, and Rose is left just hoping that he decides not to say anything to Kim who is already on the warpath and will take any excuse to get her rival to leave Home Farm.

Unfortunately for Rose, Will has learned by now that it’s not a sensible idea to keep secrets from Kim and he tells her what happened. Even worse for Rose, he tells his wife that it’s time Rose left Emmerdale before she can cause any more trouble.

Rose is listening to this and knows her plan is about to be badly derailed.

So she takes action that is bound to take Kim’s mind off things. She lets one of Kim’s precious horses loose.

While Kim is distracted by rounding up her horse, it’s a certainty that she won’t have forgotten what Rose has been up to – and we know from experience that Kim Tate is capable of being extremely ruthless when she needs to get rid of someone who is annoying her.
