Emmerdale fans reckon Ella Forster is keeping a massive secret about her baby.

The village’s fresh face, portrayed by telly star Paula Lane, rocked up on our screens earlier this year – and it was dead obvious she had a whopper of a secret stashed away.

And as soaps love a good jaw-dropper, her dark past was spilled eventually.

Back when Ella was just an 11 year old nipper, she offed her best mate and got slung in the clink for the grim deed.

Once out, Ella who used to go by Ruth has been hopping around the country ever since.

She pitched up in the Dales this January, fingers crossed she could put down roots at last, especially after hitting it off with dishy doc Liam Cavanagh (Jonny McPherson).

But when he sussed out her childhood crime, Liam binned it off, saying he couldn’t hack it after his own lass Leanna (Mimi Slinger) was m.u.r.d.e.r.e.d, reports the Express.

That sent Ella packing from the village back in June. Yet, in a plot twist last week, she zoomed back into the picture after a n.a.s.t.y prang. With a little nudge from her mate Mandy D.i.n.g.l.e (Lisa Riley), Ella braved a return to the village – leaving Liam gobsmacked. And to add to the drama, she blurted out to Mandy that she’s up the duff with Liam’s kiddo.

But the soap’s die-hard fans are betting their bottom dollar that Ella’s spinning a yarn about being preggers. On one Facebook fan group, a viewer speculated: “Omg Ella pregnant. Who’s the dad? “.

A bunch of other armchair detectives chimed in, convinced the sprog isn’t Liam’s but belongs to another bloke. One follower responded: “I don’t think it is Liam easy for her to say she hasn’t been with anyone else.”

Another spectator chalked in: “She’s probably lying and it’s another man’s.” A third declared: “But is she telling the truth ? ? ? . We didn’t hear anyone say it. She told Mandy because mandy will tell Liam.”
