GH Spoilers: Chase Discovers Finn Died Leaving Rehab

General Hospital Spoilers: Chase Discovers Finn Died Leaving Rehab

General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Dr. Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) had a difficult time dealing with the death of his father, Gregory Chase (Gregory Harrison).

Finn started drinking heavily, and because he was already an addict, he spiraled very quickly.

After blowing up his relationship with Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst), Finn continued drinking until he passed out after cutting his hand in his apartment.

Unfortunately, Finn’s young daughter Violet Finn (Jophielle Love) discovered him and for a moment, believed he had died.

General Hospital Spoilers – Hamilton Finn Checked Himself Into Rehab

After initially rejecting the idea of rehab, Finn finally agreed to let his brother Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) drive him to rehab, where it was said he will need to stay for at least 90 days.

But what happens after that? Michael Easton has left the show and it doesn’t seem like he will be returning to the show, even briefly. But because Violet is staying with Chase at the Quartermaines, his permanent absence will have to be addressed.

GH Spoilers – Hamilton Finn Has Mentioned Doctors Without Borders

It’s possible that Finn will rejoin Doctors Without Borders. Perhaps an opportunity will come up and Finn will have to leave directly from rehab instead of stopping in Port Charles first.

But he would never leave Violet a second longer than he has to, so Chase may have to take her to her father offscreen.

Its also possible that Finn will show up in Port Charles and take Violet with him offscreen. But that wouldn’t give fans the opportunity to say goodbye, so hopefully that’s not the case.

General Hospital Spoilers – Hamilton Finn Could Die!

However, if the show plans to keep Violet around they are going to need to come up with a reason that she’s not with Finn.

Unfortunately, that would mean that Finn could suffer a tragic fate. Perhaps on the way home from rehab, Finn could find himself in a terrible car accident.

If Finn dies, that would mean that Violet would stay with Chase and Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) permanently. But after losing Gregory, that would be a lot for both Chase and Violet to deal with but at least they will be together.
