Audra finds herself at the center of a tense conversation with Nate at the Athletic Club.

When he questions her about the look she shared with Holden, she initially plays coy, claiming she doesn’t know what he means. However, Nate is observant and presses further, sensing that there is something between them that she isn’t saying. Realizing she can’t

brush it off, Audra clarifies that Holden is the one seeking a connection—he is lonely and

desperate for a friend, and he has latched onto her. She insists she’s only entertaining his attempts at friendship to gather more information about Damian.

Nate listens but remains skeptical, reminding Audra that if there were anything more going on with Holden, she could confide in him. He understands how difficult it can be to talk about past relationships with a new partner, hinting at an underlying concern that Holden might be more than just a casual acquaintance from her past. Shifting the focus, Audra offers to share what she has uncovered about Damian, and Nate suggests they continue the conversation at his place. Since Amy is away in Chicago, he believes it’s the perfect opportunity to go over the details before she gets involved.

Once they arrive at Nate’s penthouse, Audra immediately notices Amy’s forgotten scarf and expresses concern about the cold weather in Chicago. Nate explains that Amy was rushed into the trip for medical tests, and while she was unsettled by the urgency, they both hope his doctor friend can provide some answers. After pouring drinks, they settle in, and Audra starts to outline the power shift between Damian and Holden. She explains that while they once had a friendship, Damian assumed a leadership role, making Holden feel like a subordinate rather than an equal. This shift created resentment, and Holden’s frustration became increasingly evident, especially when Damian publicly reprimanded him.

According to Audra, Holden has confided in her about Damian’s short temper, which raises concerns about the situation escalating. Nate wonders if Holden has figured out that she is digging for information, which could be dangerous. He is already uneasy about Lily’s involvement, as she has been investigating Damian’s past and uncovering discrepancies. One significant discovery is that Damian lied about owning two companies—he is merely a CEO rather than a full-fledged owner. The number of deceptions is piling up, leading Audra to believe that maintaining these lies must be taking a toll on him.

Despite his reservations, Nate admits that he wants to trust his half-brother. Audra warns him against being too optimistic, but she acknowledges the positive impact this situation has had on Amy. While she agrees that Nate should trust his instincts, she urges caution when it comes to allowing Damian deeper into their lives. Nate, however, is determined to focus on Amy’s well-being. He believes that her desire to reconnect with her son should take precedence over his own doubts. He understands Audra’s concerns but insists that he wants to believe the best in Damian. Even if there is a risk of getting hurt, he refuses to abandon the hope of creating a real family.

Meanwhile, Billy and Nick are deep in discussion about Phyllis and Sharon’s troubling disappearance. When Nick arrives at Billy’s place, he requests a list of contacts Phyllis might have reached out to, but Billy has already exhausted that avenue. The more they talk, the clearer it becomes that something is seriously wrong. Handing Nick a beer, Billy suggests that they take a moment to really think things through.

Billy admits that at first, he struggled to accept that Phyllis might be in danger. Given her history, it was easier to assume she had gone off the grid on her own. However, he now realizes that this situation is different. As they speculate on the possibility of a kidnapping, Billy asks if Nick is certain Ian Ward is dead. The mention of Ian immediately unsettles Nick—he was the first person who came to mind when he considered the possibility of an abduction. However, Nick insists that Ian was shot and later cremated, making his return impossible.

One detail stands out: Phyllis and Sharon both called from burner phones. That means they were together, which suggests that their situation is not voluntary. Billy and Nick acknowledge that the two women have clashed more than ever since Heather’s death, making it even less likely that they would have willingly joined forces. Nick defends Sharon, asserting that she has been in a good place and is not seeking revenge. Meanwhile, Chance has been reaching out to clinics, but waiting for answers is taking a toll on Nick. He feels an overwhelming sense of responsibility for everything that has happened, even though he knows it doesn’t make logical sense. The weight of his family’s struggles never seems to ease, and every time they try to heal, another crisis emerges.

Billy encourages Nick to go easy on himself, but Nick remains burdened by guilt. Phyllis has always accused him of coming to Sharon’s rescue too often, yet he suspects that deep down, she wants him to save her just as much. Billy acknowledges the irony of them working together, given their history, but he remains committed to finding answers. As Nick prepares to leave, he makes it clear that this is not a moment of bonding between them. Just as he walks out, he receives a call from the ranch security team. They have reviewed all the CCTV footage, but there are no new leads. Frustrated, Nick decides to check in with the rest of the family. After he leaves, Billy is left alone with his thoughts, wondering aloud, Damn it. Where are you?

Meanwhile, in the basement of a medical clinic, Sharon is focused on a stack of cue cards. Phyllis, however, is unimpressed. Exercising nearby, she mockingly speculates that Sharon must be working on a bucket list. With sarcasm dripping from her voice, she guesses that Sharon’s list likely includes something sentimental—perhaps one final moment with her children. Phyllis admits that’s what would be on her list.

Sharon fires back, noting that Phyllis didn’t get that chance with her own kids after she faked her death. Not one to back down, Phyllis throws Sharon’s own past in her face, suggesting that she would do something noble and self-sacrificing, like giving away all her money just to be admired for her generosity.

“I’d go out with a bang,” Phyllis declares confidently. She believes Sharon would do the same. More importantly, she is convinced that Sharon secretly hopes for her knight in shining armor—Nick—to come rushing in to save the day. Sharon doesn’t deny it, but she also points out that Phyllis would be just as happy to have Nick come to her rescue.
