Exciting developments are set to unfold in Hollyoaks from Monday, March 3rd to Wednesday, March 5th,

as Ste Hay (Kieron Richardson) intensifies his mission to prove Jez’s (Jeremy Sheffield) guilt, Oscar (Noah Holdsworth) finds himself in even more trouble,

and Martha (Michelle Holmes) makes a pivotal decision about her future.

Here’s what’s in store next week in the village.

Rex Pushes Dillon and Frankie to the Edge

The drama kicks off at James Nightingale’s (Gregory Finnegan) former residence, which was recently acquired by Rex Gallagher (Jonny Labey).

He generously allowed Dillon (Nathaniel Dass) to stay rent-free, and alongside Lucas (Oscar Curtis) and Frankie (Isabelle Smith), the trio has made it their own.

However, Lucas stumbles upon a spice vape, leading him to suspect that Dillon and Frankie have been keeping secrets. His suspicions deepen when he learns that Dillon’s arrangement with Rex is anything but innocent—Rex is allegedly using the house to store stolen goods. Determined to do the right thing, Lucas alerts the authorities.

Next week, Lucas confesses his actions to Dillon and Frankie, fearing that their continued association with Rex will only lead to more trouble. Though loyal to their friend, Dillon and Frankie inform Rex of the impending police intervention, prompting him to shift his operations. Later, he discusses a new scheme with his sister, Grace Black (Tamara Wall), suggesting that their next move involves expanding their influence at an upcoming party.

As another wild night unfolds, Dillon and Frankie hesitate to go along with Rex’s latest plan, but he offers tempting incentives. Will they resist the lure of his promises, or will they find themselves trapped deeper in his web?

Ste Doubles Down on His Mission to Expose Jez

Ste, still struggling with the effects of psychosis following the tragic explosion that claimed his husband James, becomes increasingly fixated on proving that Jez is responsible for Fernando’s disappearance.

His paranoia escalates when he notices fresh soil at the allotment, leading him to suspect foul play. While this discovery could provide crucial information for Cleo (Nadine Mulkerrin), it may also deepen Ste’s own troubles.

Next week, Ste grows even more convinced that Jez murdered Fernando and replaced him with another cat. His sister, Leela (Kirsty-Leigh Porter), urges him to consult his psychiatrist, and he initially agrees—only to later cancel the appointment. Instead, he confronts Jez directly, but his accusations are dismissed outright.

Desperate for support, Ste turns to John Paul (James Sutton), pleading with him to see Jez’s true nature. Determined to prove his suspicions correct, Ste vows to gather the evidence needed to expose Jez once and for all.

When Ste returns to the allotment, he thoroughly searches for any incriminating clues before tipping off the police. As the authorities investigate, a nervous Jez watches closely. However, the biggest shock comes when he discovers Ste waiting for him, ready for another confrontation.

Oscar’s Risky Escape Leads to More Danger

Tensions run high as Darren (Ashley Taylor Dawson) and Nancy (Jessica Fox) face turmoil in their marriage. The situation takes a drastic turn when Pearl (Dawn Hope) delivers alarming news—Oscar is missing.

Still recovering from injuries sustained in a violent altercation between Ro (Ava Webster) and Arlo (Dan Hough), Oscar sneaks out and ends up at the ongoing party at Weirside View. Frankie is stunned to see her brother there and urges him to leave, promising to visit him later.

As Oscar departs, he crosses paths with Ro, who is taken aback by his return. With Oscar still waiting for a new cochlear implant, an unfortunate accident causes him to trip and fall. The situation worsens when Arlo spots the incident and decides to stir the pot. The question remains—will Nancy find Oscar before he gets hurt again?

Diane’s Desperate Attempt to Protect Ro

Ro struggles with the consequences of his accidental knife attack on Oscar. Fearful that he could end up in a juvenile detention center, Ro confides in his mother, Diane (Alex Fletcher), about his growing anxiety.

Adding to his distress, Ro fears that being placed in the female program at the detention center will only exacerbate his struggles. Seeing the pain her son is in, Diane vows to do whatever it takes to keep him safe—even if it means making a drastic, life-altering choice.

Meanwhile, Ro turns to Kathleen-Angel (Kiara Mellor) for emotional support, but it’s Prince (Malique Thompson-Dwyer) who offers him the guidance he needs. Drawing from his own experiences, Prince advises Ro to keep his head down and blend in. However, it remains uncertain whether this advice will truly help Ro’s cause or further complicate his predicament.

Martha Entrusts Jez with a Major Responsibility

Elsewhere, Martha receives unexpected news at a doctor’s appointment. While she had feared her condition was deteriorating rapidly, she learns that her dementia symptoms have not progressed as quickly as anticipated.

Despite the somewhat reassuring diagnosis, Martha makes a bold choice—she grants Jez lasting power of attorney. This decision raises serious concerns: is she making the right move, or will she ultimately come to regret giving Jez such immense control over her affairs?

Final Thoughts

With secrets unraveling, loyalties being tested, and dangerous choices being made, Hollyoaks promises another thrilling week of drama. Will Ste succeed in proving Jez’s guilt? Can Oscar escape further harm? And just how far will Diane go to protect Ro? Tune in next week to find out!
