In her book, Lisa admitted that Nick was nearly a decade older than her and, by her own words, “wasn’t exactly an oil painting.” However, as they spent more time together, she found herself increasingly drawn to him. Despite their undeniable chemistry, Lisa initially reminded herself that Nick was a married man with children—something he had openly shared with her.

She recalled, “Back at the hotel, he didn’t come near me. He didn’t even give me a kiss. I can still picture him sitting on the end of the bed.”
Unable to ignore the growing tension between them, Lisa confronted him that night, asking directly if something was wrong. That’s when Nick admitted the truth—he didn’t think he could continue their relationship.
“I’m sorry, I don’t think I can do this,” he told her, leaving Lisa heartbroken.
Finding Love Again with Al
Although the end of her relationship with Nick was painful, Lisa eventually found happiness again. In 2014, she met American musician Al through mutual friends, and their connection quickly blossomed.
