General Hospital spoilers for Monday, September 9, focus on confessions, surprises, and characters squaring off and in the hot seat. Good thing Jordan lets her detective skills fly free. Does she finally come up with Isaiah’s true identity?
Law Versus Order
Do you think Agent Cates (Adam Harrington) realized his murder would rile everybody up in Port Charles? Just about everybody in town can guess Sonny (Maurice Benard) is the one to off Cates. But with his precious alibi with Carly (Laura Wright), he’s mostly untouchable for now. Instead, Ric’s (Rick Hearst) and Liz’s (Rebecca Herbst) witness statement puts a target on Alexis’s back. So, the lines in this murder investigation are becoming mighty blurry.
As a result, PCPD Commissioner Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) is set to square off against bulldog defense attorney Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy). The two women almost never back down, so whatever confrontation happens will be loud and well-argued. Anna is strictly anti-Sonny, while Diane defends the man for money. Undoubtedly, she will handle Alexis’s case if there is one to handle. Who will be the topic of their vocal altercation? (Find out what’s happening the rest of the week)
Hot Seats and Confessions
For a lawyer, Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) can do shady things. Sure, she was thinking about protecting her daughter when she threw that gun over the bridge into the river. And, sure, she had no idea that at the same time she was on that bridge, Sonny was busy killing Cates (Adam Harrington shares a heartfelt goodbye here). But now she is in quite the conundrum over this missing weapon. Unsurprisingly, she finds herself in the hot seat.
Meanwhile, Kristina (Kate Mansi) makes a confession. What does she admit to? That she should never have gone to Ava’s hotel suite? That she took the gun from Sonny’s penthouse? How about she should never have agreed to enter a surrogate scenario with her sister and her domestic partner? So many confessions to make and lots of time to make them.
#SaveLuluUpdate
Lucky (Jonathan Jackson) is in East Africa and needs to get out and back to Lulu. Holly (Emma Samms) is there, too, but she’s grifting. However, she may have to pivot to help Lucky escape. Suddenly, Lucky gets a surprise. Does this concern Laura (Genie Francis), who was on her way to Nairobi with Kevin (Jon Lindstrom)?
Finally, Jordan’s detective skills kick in, presumably over John Doe’s identity. Is she on the verge of discovering who Isaiah (Sawandi Wilson) is? And, more importantly, is Jordan (Tanisha Harper) about to miss police work? Speaking of pivoting, we won’t blame her if she wants to jump back onto the PCPD or open her own PI business. As much as we like her as deputy mayor, it looks like she really misses her police commissioner days.
On the upcoming episode of General Hospital, tensions are running high as confessions are made and secrets are revealed. Jordan is using all of her detective skills to uncover the truth about Isaiah’s identity. Will she finally crack the case? Meanwhile, Agent Cates’s murder has sent shockwaves through Port Charles, with Sonny at the center of it all. Despite his alibi with Carly, the evidence is stacking up against him. Ric and Liz’s witness statement puts Alexis in the spotlight, leading to a fierce legal battle between Anna Devane and Diane Miller. As the investigation unfolds, lines are blurred, and loyalties are tested. Alexis finds herself in the hot seat as she grapples with the consequences of her actions. Meanwhile, Kristina makes a confession that could change everything. Will her admission bring the family closer together or tear them apart? Elsewhere, Lucky finds himself in a dangerous situation in East Africa, while Laura and Kevin race to save him. What surprises await them in Nairobi? As the drama unfolds, Jordan must decide where her loyalties lie and whether she is ready to return to her roots in law enforcement. Is she willing to leave behind her role as deputy mayor for a chance to solve crimes once again? Only time will tell. Stay tuned for more updates and revelations on General Hospital.
