EMMERDALE actor Joe Warren Plant has split from his long-term girlfriend Anna Norton.
The ITV soap star, 22, and Anna Norton dated for over two years and even bought a house together and shared a pet cat.
But insiders have revealed the romance recently hit the rocks, despite a trip to America together earlier this year.
A source said: “Joe and Anna are over, it’s very sad but they are still very young.
“It hasn’t been the amicable split they were hoping for and they aren’t speaking now at all.”
The couple bought a place together in Blackpool in 2022 and seemed to be going from strength to strength after a rocky start.
Joe, who plays Jacob Gallagher in the ITV soap, and Anna previously fell out after claims she was unfaithful.
Sources said at the time that Joe was furious to find messages on her phone from someone else.
But the pair worked through it and welcomed their ‘first child’ – a cat called Wolfie.
It’s been a tough couple of years for Dancing On Ice star Joe following the death of his mum.
Joe told how his mum passed away following liver complications aged 47 last November.
Speaking in an interview about his devastating loss for the first time, the star reflected: “Mum was so supportive and such an amazing person. I miss her a lot.”
Joe’s character was first introduced to the village in 2010 and since then has faced testing situations.
He said about working on the ITV soap: “I am happy here and see myself here for the foreseeable future.
“I never thought I would get to this point and I really want to reiterate how grateful I am.
“Sometimes when I look at pictures of myself over the years, I just think ‘wow I have been here for 13 years’. It’s crazy but it is so much fun.”
The Sun told earlier this year how Joe has been working in a pub alongside the soap to earn some extra cash.
