While Ric (Rick Hearst) is in town supporting his daughter, reconnecting with Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst), and taking on Heather’s case, he also manages to have time for a heart-to-heart with TJ (Tajh Bellow).
TJ must be at a loss for how to feel, breathe, mourn, and interact with Molly (Kristen Vaganos). Tragic events often tear couples apart. Does he want advice on how to prevent that from happening? What knowledge and words of wisdom is he expecting to get from Ric? More importantly, will this emotional chat take a turn in tone?
The Advice Corner
The advice corner continues. First, with Ric’s ex, Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn). When Alexis confers with Diane (Carolyn Hennesy), is this about Kristina’s case now that Agent Cates (Adam Harrington — who shared a touching goodbye on social media) is dead? Or does she need to talk about the gun she found in Kristina’s bag?
Meanwhile, look for Trina (Tabyana Ali) to advise her bestie, Josslyn (Eden McCoy). Joss’s family is nine kinds of a mess right now. Agent Cates is dead, and Sonny (Maurice Benard) has dragged himself and Carly (Laura Wright) into this madness. Also, Michael (Chad Duell) is helping his dad cover up the murder. Joss probably doesn’t know all the sordid details, but the girl desperately needs help to make everything make sense.
Alarmed and Determined
Teasers suggest that Sonny is alarmed. However, shouldn’t he be feeling a million different emotions? All the ones that come with murdering a federal agent and letting your son come up with a cover story? The catch here is why Sonny is alarmed. Does Anna (Finola Hughes) turn up the heat on trying to take Sonny down? Or is this about something else?
Finally, Nina (Cynthia Watros) is determined. Hmm, could she be determined to move past the Sonny and Carly business she witnessed at the Q mansion? That was an awkward moment she undoubtedly wants to forget about immediately. But usually, when Nina’s determined, it has to do with her daughter. Is that what is happening here?
