General Hospital spoilers for Tuesday, September 3, focus on an unexpected reunion, a shocking discovery, and a sudden investigation.

LiRic Reunited and Redux?

Ric (Rick Hearst) has returned to Port Charles for two reasons. First, he wants to support his daughter, Molly (Kristen Vaganos), who is having a rough time. Second, Scott (Kin Shriner) can no longer handle Heather’s case, so he passed it on to Ric. The attorney seems to be all about representing Heather (Alley Mills) in her bid to get out of prison.

While at the hospital, Ric runs into his ex-wife, Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst). What will happen during this much-anticipated moment and subsequent conversation? Will the two hit it off once again? After all, Liz has no attachments whatsoever. Could these two be headed toward a romantic reunion, too? Let’s not get ahead of ourselves. It’s time to see how these two interact after years of being apart.

Feelings and Regrets

Meanwhile, look for Sam (Kelly Monaco — who is out at GH) to open up to Kristina (Kate Mansi). What? Does Kristina actually listen to one of her sister’s problems? Ultimately, we consider this progress because she has so much on her plate. Does Sam confess her innermost thoughts about what’s happening with Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) and a comatose Lulu? Or does she need to get something else off her chest?

Sam isn’t the only one opening up. Drew (Cameron Mathison) confided to Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) about his suddenly late mentor, Congressman McConkey (Sam McMurray). And look what happened? Drew and Willow, once again, locked lips and maybe more. Subsequently, Willow makes excuses. Are the excuses for Drew, or are they for Michael (Chad Duell) or even Nina (Cynthia Watros)?

Elsewhere in Port Charles, Jason (Steve Burton) makes a discovery. Let’s see — there are three options: One, he sneaks up on Sonny (Maurice Benard) just after he brutally shoots Jagger (Adam J. Harrington) twice. Two, he finds Kristina with the gun that she took from her dad’s place and stops her before she can do something bad. And three, Jason is at the Pine Barrens, stopping Jagger’s sidekick from offing Ava (Maura West).

Finally, Chase (Josh Swickard) investigates a crime. After all, there has been a shooting. Is he talking about the one that went down on the Quartermaine property right there? Or has Sonny taken care of Jagger’s body and thinks that he’s gotten away with murder?
