Emmerdale Spoilers reveal that Tom King and Belle’s relationship which
turned unbearably toxic due to Tom’s abusive tendencies put out a very
important social message. While Belle eventually sees Tom’s real face and
manages to escape the marital bounds, she will soon be horrified to learn that someone she cares about could land in grave danger.
Tom abused and controlled Belle for months before she could finally break off the shackles of his hold over her. Unfortunately, even after distancing herself from her, the toxic ex continued to manipulate her. He even made her believe that her pet dog, Piper, had been killed. Tired of Tom’s unrelenting ways, Belle took a huge step.
Emmerdale Spoilers reveal that she approached the cops to apply for Clare’s Law, which would allow her to disclose Tom’s behavior so that he won’t be able to victimize any of his future partners. Unfortunately, in the upcoming episodes, Belle learns that her application has been rejected. Later, Tom forces Belle to hold her tongue, by reminding her that he still has pictures of her that he could release.
Belle decides to try and access the pictures for herself but realizes that Tom has changed the password. She then heads to Woolpack to confront her ex. There, she gets into an argument with Amelia Spencer. The latter reveals that she and Tom are already in the early stages of a new relationship. Amelia also states that she and Tom have been seeing each other for a couple of weeks.
Belle and Lydia Dingle are stunned to hear the news, and fear for Amelia’s safety. But even if Belle decides to tell Amelia the truth about Tom and his abusive ways, will the latter believe it?
