After receiving devastating news, Drew is about to spend the night with Willow on the August 29, 2024 episode of General Hospital.

Drew Q For You

Drew (Cameron Mathison, who has found a new home on Game Show Network) spoke at another rally in Port Charles, surrounded by friends and family, including Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) and Michael (Chad Duell). But the person Drew wanted to see most was his friend and mentor Congressman McConkey (Sam McMurray), who had yet to show up.

Drew thanked Michael and Willow for coming, but when Michael had to leave, saying he’d see them later at a big Quartermaine family dinner, it was just Willow and Drew. Willow kept things quick and casual, complimenting Drew on his speech, while Drew still wondered where McConkey was.

A Night To Remember

After thanking Curtis (Donnell Turner) and Portia (Brook Kerr) for coming and alluding to wanting Curtis to run Aurora, it was a little while later when Drew was found looking somberly at his phone by Willow. When she asked if everything was okay, he told her he just learned McConkey had died. Willow asked how, and Drew suggested they go somewhere private to talk, presumably due to the Congressman’s cancer not being public knowledge. After explaining the sick Congressman had collapsed that morning, Drew realized Willow had to leave for dinner at the Quartermaine’s. But when Drew told her he wasn’t in the mood to join them, Willow – despite previously quitting her new job to keep her distance from him – decided she wasn’t leaving him alone.
