Chain of Custody
What has Ava (Maura West) gotten herself into? She aligned herself with Agent Cates (Adam Harrington) and must already regret that choice. Meanwhile, Sonny (Maurice Benard) offered to help her, but understandably, Ms. Jerome was wary. Unfortunately for her, Cates is out of control. His obsession with Sonny has reached over-the-top levels.The federal agent basically railroaded Ava into custody. So, is it surprising to discover that she finds herself in an alarming situation? Suspicious Minds
Ava leaving with Cates means that Sonny has a lot of thinking and questioning to do. His life for the last half-year (plus) has been chaotic at best. But his mind is clear, and his suspicions are confirmed. Does this have to do with Cates, and how everybody thinks that his bosses don’t sanction his vendetta against Sonny? Or does this involve using Anna (Finola Hughes) as bait to find Valentin (James Patrick Stuart)? (Check out more GH Comings & Goings here)
Speaking of Anna, she makes her case to Brennan (Charles Mesure). After Carly (Laura Wright) filled her in on Brennan and Jason’s rendezvous, she knew she would hightail it over to the WSB Station Chief to find out what he really wanted with Jason (Steve Burton). Anna might kill two birds with one stone if she also discusses finding Charlotte (Scarlett Fernandez) and Valentin. After all, she will probably need Brennan’s help to find her ex-turned-fugitive.
Whatever it Takes
Laura (Genie Francis) is a woman on a mission to save her daughter. Suddenly, Laura makes a big decision. Is it that she needs to get Lucky (Jonathan Jackson) back to town as soon as possible? Or is this about enlisting someone’s help to make that happen? At this point, Laura will do whatever it takes.Finally, in the wake of the devastating and disastrous funeral service for Baby Irene Marie (or Baby Adele, depending on who you talk to), Kristina (Kate Mansi) makes her own decision. She contacts Jason (Steve Burton). What does she want with him? Is this her bypassing Sonny in order to ensure that Ava goes down permanently for what happened to the baby Kristina carried for almost nine months?
