Y&R spoilers reveal that Lucy has been drinking to cope with her loneliness, self-esteem issues, and anxiety. Just as Faith was afraid of, Lucy turned to booze after being rejected.
Then, Lucy texted Faith begging for help. Faith didn’t want to go, but was encouraged to check on the vulnerable teen by Sharon Newman (Sharon Case).

Now Sharon, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow). Daniel Romalotti, Jr. (Michael Grazaidei), and Heather Stevens (Vail Bloom) are all at the hospital.
The parents have just learned that Lucy and Faith were in the car together. What they don’t know yet is that Lucy had alcohol in her system at the time of the crash.
However, I doubt Faith would get in the car if Lucy was driving. Of course, maybe the girl’s bodies were ejected from the car when it crashed. That could explain the police assuming one was driving when it was actually the other girl?
In any case, Daniel and Heather give Lucy some tough love. So, they will know that Lucy had booze in her system, but who was driving and why did they crash?
The Young And The Restless – Abbott-Chancellor Fallout
The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal that with Nikki, she is supposed to run Abbott-Chancellor after it’s taken over by Victor Newman (Eric Braeden).
However, I have a feeling that Victor’s scheme might backfire. Sure, Nikki could always run Newman Media again. However, with Faith being in another medical crisis, could Nikki’s recent sobriety lead to a new chapter?
Y&R Spoilers – Unexpected New Chapter?
It’s possible that Nikki might step in and help counsel or guide Lucy. After all, Nikki knows what it is like to battle alcohol.
Of course, the dynamics would be tricky because Lucy’s drinking is what ultimately led to Faith’s medical crisis. However, once Faith is better, I can totally see Nikki swooping Lucy under her wing as her AA sponsor.
After all, Nikki has been wanting to pay it forward after Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) risked his life saving hers.
