The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that “Cameron Kirsten”
(Linden Ashby) is stuck inside Sharon Newman’s (Sharon Case) head,
but he’s really just a manifestation of Sharon’s most troubling thoughts.
There are terrible places Sharon doesn’t want to go and awful things she doesn’t want to let herself think.
“Cameron” is forcing Sharon to visit those places in her mind and indeed think those things.
That brings us to some new clues about where this storyline is ultimately headed.
Y&R fans can expect some unsettling twists thanks to “Cameron” pushing Sharon to take a sinister turn.
In the August 23 episode, “Cameron” had an idea about a path forward for Sharon – one that could lead to true happiness for the first time since Cassie Newman’s (Camryn Grimes) demise.
“Cameron” suggested that finding Cassie closure by any means necessary will open the door to a Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) reunion.
Sharon refused to let “Cameron” blame Cassie for her split from Nick, but “Cameron” said they both knew exactly who’s to blame for that.
Despite Sharon’s repeated attempts to make “Cameron” go away, he pushed her to admit she was struggling with this issue so she could tackle the next part.
“Admit it, and then you can move on and deal with what you know deep down needs to be done,” the Cameron hallucination insisted.
It’s interesting that “Cameron” was alluding to the real person to blame for the split and then hinting about what needed to be done.
Doesn’t that make it sound like “Cameron” wants Sharon to wipe Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) off the map?
As far as Sharon is concerned, Phyllis took advantage of the Cassie situation and kicked off a love triangle they’ve never been able to escape.
Sharon has never been able to make a reunion with Nick stick because Phyllis is always there in the back of his mind.
“Cameron” may eventually suggest that by getting rid of Phyllis permanently, Sharon can erase the biggest reminder of that horrible time in her life.
Plus, Sharon could guarantee that Nick’s eye will never wander to Phylis ever again.
Will “Cameron” be the reason Sharon comes up with a fatal Phyllis plot? Will “Cameron” argue that eliminating Phyllis forever is the only real solution?
Our predictions suggest that going after Daniel Romalotti Jr. (Michael Graziadei) might become part of Sharon’s closure process too, but he’s not the main problem here.
Phyllis has been coming between Sharon and Nick for years, so it’s easy to see why “Cameron” might urge Sharon to eliminate her worst rival for good!
