The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers update for Tuesday, August 20, reveals that Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will have some guidance to pass along – though it may turn into more of a warning about the damage Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) can do.
Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) has been dealing with way too much Billy drama lately, so Nikki may warn that it’s only going to get worse if she continues working with him.
Billy is always going to pressure Lily to do things his way, so Nikki may wonder if she really wants to live like that?
Of course, Nikki might also acknowledge that once Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) gets an idea stuck in his head there’s no stopping him.
Since Victor’s going after Billy, Nikki might think it’s best for Lily to just bow out and avoid all the chaos.
However, Victor will tackle things from another angle thanks to Michael Baldwin’s (Christian LeBlanc) updates on Jill Abbott’s (Jess Walton) cardiac problems.
It looks like Victor will use that secret as leverage to make Billy do what he wants.
Victor feels like Lily is the only thing keeping Billy from completely losing his grip on Abbott-Chancellor.
With that in mind, Victor may push Billy to cut Lily loose or else Jill’s medical condition will become major news in the business world.
Y&R spoilers say Billy will indeed fire Lily during the week of August 19-23, so it’ll be interesting to see if that’s due to Victor and the trouble he’ll cause for Billy.
Speaking of trouble, Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) will decide they’ve faced more than enough of it throughout their tense partnership so far.
Audra and Kyle have caused plenty of issues for each other, but they’ll be ready for a truce.
Although Kyle and Audra will have to put some effort into this goal, they’ll try to find a path to being a real team.
Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) called Kyle out for not trusting Audra either, so this may be the first step in fixing that – at least when it comes to the work they’re doing together at Glissade.
That doesn’t mean Kyle will ever trust Audra on a personal level again, but working out a business agreement seems like the right call under the circumstances.
