The atmospheric promo reveals details of the catastrophic pile up and teases more characters who might be in jeopardy as the two worlds of Coronation Street and Emmerdale collide. The 30 second preview was revealed exclusively tonight (Monday) during The Big Quiz, ITV’s annual festive TV special pitting the cast members of Coronation Street and Emmerdale against each other in a battle of soap trivia, hosted by Stephen Mulhern. New characters confirmed as being amongst the residents of Weatherfield and Emmerdale caught up in the drama are Corrie’s Kit Green, James Bailey, Asha Alahan, Carla Connor and Shona Platt whilst Emmerdale’s Cain Dingle, Sarah Sugden, Charity Dingle, Jacob Gallagher, Robert Sugden and Joe Tate are added to the previously announced David Platt, Tracy Barlow, Liam Cavanagh, Aaron Dingle and Lisa Swain.
