‘General Hospital’ Spoilers For the Week of Monday, August 19 to Friday, August 23: Too far
First, ‘General Hospital’ spoilers reveal John arrests Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi). That will happen on Monday, August 19. Of course, several family members will be there to see this, including Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard).
As we mentioned, we expect Sonny to keep a cooler head this time, despite the fact Cates will goad Sonny with this. He’s realized there is a problem and he’s getting the meds fixed, so he’ll be in a more clear-headed state. That may or may not be a good thing for Cates…
As for Kristina, we’re not expecting her to be locked up for long. In the preview, Kristina gets upset that Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristen Vaganos) and TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) named the baby without her. Since they’re not at the PCPD, it’s obvious someone got Kristina released quickly, at least on bail.

Elsewhere, Ava tells Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) she thinks she’s made a gigantic mistake. Just one? We can think of at least a handful right off the top of our heads. Including the way she betrayed Nina, the one she’s crying to about all this. As you can tell, we’ve lost a lot of sympathy for Ava with the way the writers have messed her up.
Hopefully, this will be a moment where Ava’s realizes Cates is going too far with his Sonny vendetta. Especially if she’s just learned Kristina was arrested. We are curious to see how Nina responds to this, as she does have a sympathetic look in the preview.

Finally, ‘General Hospital’ spoilers reveal a surprise for Anna. Jason will reveal Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) was messing with Sonny’s meds. This will be a bit of a test, in our opinion, for Anna. In the Monday preview, Jason’s asking if she’ll warn Valentin.
That’s a good question, assuming she even knows how to get in touch with him. She’s already let Valentin off the hook on the Pikeman thing, so it’s not crazy to think she’d want to help protect him from retribution from Sonny. You know, the former friend she’s suddenly against.
