General Hospital spoilers tease Lulu Falconeri (Emme Rylan) is about to come out of the coma that has sidelined her life and many of the lives attached to her for years.
When Lulu was trapped in the explosion at the Floating Rib, no one was more devastated than Laura Collins (Genie Francis) and Lulu’s children. While Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) wasn’t keen to move on with his life, he eventually did find love again with Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco).
Now, everyone is on pins and needles wondering how Lulu waking up could impact Dante and Sam and the good thing they have going. But they’re not the only two people touched by the change in circumstances. Who else might see their life change because Lulu wakes up?
General Hospital Spoilers — Laura Collins Takes On More Work
Just as Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) has laid down her arms against Laura, and we thought she may sail through election season unscathed, a new battle is arriving on her doorstep.
This time, it’s personal. Laura has never shied away from helping when her family is in need, and this time will be no different.
When Lulu wakes up, she’s going to need extensive medical care to get back on her feet — including physical therapy.
She’s been in bed for years, after all. Given that Dante has a new love in his life, he can’t be relied upon to take care of Lulu.
Will it be up to Laura to shoulder that responsibility even though she’s now caring for Ace Cassadine (Jay and Joey Clay) too?
GH Spoilers – Claim Valentin Cassadine’s Situation Grows More Dire
With Lulu in a coma, Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) has been the primary custodial parent to Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez), but that isn’t any poor reflection on Lulu’s parenting.
She’ll naturally want to see her daughter and reignite their relationship. So learning that she has disappeared with her father — a wanted man — could spark some controversy.
If Lulu deploys all resources necessary to get her daughter back, Police Commissioner Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) may find herself in hot water for intervening with a federal investigation into Pikeman and Valentin.
General Hospital Spoilers — Sante Could Be Out
Of course, although Dante is tied up with Sam right now, that doesn’t mean their relationship will be able to withstand Lulu waking up. This change in circumstances is going to have a major emotional impact on Dante.
For Lulu, it will likely be as though no time was lost, and she’ll have to deal with being in love with a man that has long since moved on from her. Has he though? Will Sam sense something burning inside of Dante — a torch he’s still carrying for his ex?
