and Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) have been bonding lately, so it’s likely just
a matter of time until they hit the sheets. Adam Newman (Mark Grossman)
and Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) have been scrambling to keep their relationships intact, but their Baltimore betrayal is bound to blow up both of their romances.
At some point, Sally and Billy are probably going to land in bed together in the aftermath.
Billy and Sally might even become a real couple somewhere down the line.
If Sally and Billy are on the verge of sharing plenty of screen time and new stories, we should consider what long-term direction the writers might come up with.
It wasn’t that long ago that Billy comforted Sally over the loss of Ava Spectra by reflecting on his own loss of Delia Abbott (Sophie Pollono).
Both Billy and Sally feel a void due to their deceased daughters, so maybe that could tie in with a future plot twist.
Sally would love to be a mom eventually, so Y&R may give her a pregnancy do-over.
There’s been speculation that Sally and Adam might get a second-chance baby that ends up saving their romance, but there’s no guarantee that’ll happen.
Adam and Sally have honestly been running out of steam for a while now, so this cheating fiasco seems more like a good way to break them up. The same goes for Chelsea and Billy’s stale pairing.
It feels like the show has big plans for another Chelsea and Adam chapter, so Adam may not be the “baby daddy” if Sally gets pregnant again.
Y&R might wait until Sally gets passionate with Billy instead so they can make a baby of their own.
No child could ever replace Delia or Ava, but it’d still be interesting to see Billy and Sally connect over a new baby as a way to honor the children who have passed on.
Bottom line, it would feel like a repeat of an old story if Sally got pregnant by Adam a second time, but getting pregnant by Billy would be a game-changer.
This “baby daddy” twist would really shake up Genoa City!
