General Hospital Week of August 19: Lucky Spencer Clues, Ric Lansing Back for Molly and Kristina Goes Rogueslslide
General Hospital (GH) spoilers for the week of August 19-23 reveal that Laura Collins (Genie Francis) may end up in a panic after some unsettling news. Since Lucky Spencer (Jonathan Jackson) will make his on-screen return in late August, we should see some clues that pave the way for that soon.
It looks like the show’s been filming scenes on a set that’s supposed to be Africa, so that may tie in with Lucky’s upcoming storyline.
If Laura gets a phone call about Lucky going missing or landing in some trouble, you can bet she’ll do everything she can to help her son.
Meanwhile, let’s talk about a different return since Rick Hearst is about to make a big comeback as Ric Lansing.
GH fans will see Ric on-screen again during the week of August 19-23, so look for him to reunite with Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristen Vaganos) and plenty of other familiar faces in Port Charles.
It’s worth noting that Ric’s return may happen just in time for the funeral Molly and TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) are planning for the baby.
Molly could use her dad’s comfort right about now, so Ric will hopefully step up for her – perhaps in more ways than one.
Ric is a conniving man of many talents, so it’ll be interesting to see everything his return stint entails.
Since Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) is Ric’s half-brother, they’ll have a reunion of their own at some point.
There could be some tension when these siblings come together after all this time, especially if Ric tries to blame Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) for the baby’s grim fate.
On the other hand, maybe Sonny and Ric will be on the same page when it comes to Ava Jerome’s (Maura West) takedown – at least initially.
Whatever the case, Sonny certainly won’t lose sight of his desire to make Ava suffer and will repeatedly assure Kristina that Ava’s going to pay a steep price.
Unfortunately, Sonny’s plan to delay that payback may not work for Kristina, who’s boiling mad and wants Ava to suffer right this instant.
Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) seemed concerned about the idea of Kristina going after Ava herself, but Sonny felt confident his daughter wouldn’t do that.
However, Kristina may surprise Sonny with how far she’ll go for revenge once she’s finally released from GH.
