General Hospital Week of August 12: Agent Cates’ Disaster, Sonny’s New Chapter and Carly & Jason’s Regrets

General Hospital (GH) spoilers for the week of August 12-16 reveal that Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) will help Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) with a plan, so we’ll see if this has something to do with Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) crisis.

We know Sonny’s on the verge of getting a request that catches him off guard.

Sonny may not have a great reaction to this request, so Michael, Willow and others in the family might work to convince him it’s the right call.

Could this involve temporary custody of Avery Corinthos (Ava and Grace Scarola) while Ava Jerome (Maura West) is behind bars and Sonny’s getting the mental help he needs?

Whatever the case, Sonny will hopefully get his medication straightened out, but it’ll take a little time for him to start acting like himself again.

Avery’s well-being certainly needs to be the priority in the midst of all this.

Meanwhile, GH spoilers say Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) will work on a plan of her own, so will this involve Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison) campaign or perhaps another way to add to Ava’s list of growing issues?

Regardless, Ava will remain in hot water, especially if the investigation into Sonny’s messed-up meds leads straight to her.

There’ll be a lot riding on the trail that’s uncovered and what the pharmacist potentially has to say.

Of course, what Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) has to say will also be critical for Ava.

Will Kristina take a vengeful approach and accuse Ava of pushing her out the window or offer up more accurate news to the cops?

As for Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and Carly Spencer (Laura Wright), they may feel a mixture of guilt and relief.

Someone really should’ve seen the warning signs with Sonny and intervened sooner, so Carly and Jason may commiserate over their regrets.

That said, Sonny will be kicking off a healthier new chapter, so Jason and Carly may feel more hopeful than they have in a long time – especially now that John “Jagger” Cates’ (Adam J. Harrington) leverage is gone.

Speaking of John, he should deal with some regrets as well since he’s entangled himself with Ava and all her drama.

That could create big problems for John too, so we’ll bring you updates on all the tight spots ahead.

General Hospital spoilers say the week of August 12-16 will bring some surprising moments, so stick with us for predictions on all the highs and lows.
