The Young and the Restless spoilers show that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) are continuing to hide their secret that they slept together, but we all know that it won’t take long before it inevitably comes out!
While they have been doing their job and keeping their mouths quiet about what happened, it may be the one person they didn’t expect to drop the news.
We’re not talking about their best friends or even their significant others, but the single person who knows them best… Connor Newman (Judah Mackey).

Connor could easily believe that there’s something going on with his parents. He knows them best and would know if they’re acting off at all.
Even though Adam and Chelsea may talk with him and explain that there’s nothing going on between them, children know best. Any parent would be able to tell you that.
Connor could be in for a shock if he overhears his parents talk about the night back in Baltimore.
While they talk to each other about it and reassure that they haven’t said anything, they may have already said too much if Connor heard anything.
Adam and Chelsea have already been nervous about Connor’s mental health if he knew about what happened.

However, them spilling the beans on accident could actually have a positive effect on Connor.
He could get excited about the prospect of his parents being together and show significant improvement. This would prompt Chelsea and Adam to keep up the ploy so that their son could continue to get better.
Of course, this means that he would eventually have a terrible drop-off if he finds out that they’re not actually back together.
Connor may be the one to tell his parents that they need to tell the truth. He could argue that Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) and Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) need to know the truth. They deserve it.
Adam and Chelsea need to come clean, not just for them, but for Sally and Billy, and most importantly, their son.
