The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers suggest Cameron Kirsten (Linden Ashby) has officially returned to the land of Genoa City! While he once stalked Sharon Newman (Sharon Case), he is currently a hallucination she’s manifested on her own.

With Cameron entering the picture, this storyline continues to become intriguing; however, as Sharon recently admitted she’s no longer taking her bipolar medication, fans can sense that this is a recipe for disaster not only for Ms. Newman but anyone around her.

Sharon and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will never be friends, but after Sharon battled cancer, the two came to somewhat of an understanding. Until more recently that is.

Sharon lashed out at Phyllis (known as ‘Red’ to long-time Y&R fans) during a show last week when she mentioned talking to Faith Newman (Reylynn Caster).

Sure, Sharon overreacted, and it was totally out of character; however, now that fans know she’s not on her meds, it’ll kind of make sense.

Sharon is set to have a face-off with Phyllis during the week of August 5-9.

During their “confrontation” at Society when Sharon ripped into Phyllis, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) was there, so his ex was on her best behavior.

Added teasers note that when the two women clash this coming week, Phyllis will lose patience with Sharon.

Y&R spoilers add that days after her confrontation with Phyllis, Cameron will taunt Sharon.

Will he remind Sharon that Phyllis was the reason she lost Nick and was never able to get their romance back on track?

Nick not only cheated on Sharon with Phyllis during their marriage but also the night before they were supposed to get married, years after.

In many ways, Phyllis has been a thorn in Sharon and Nick’s side, and they’ll never truly be happy if she’s in the picture (although the same could be said about Sharon and the Phick romance).

Will Sharon do something over the top?

Will Cameron place some ideas into her head? Will she scheme to “get rid” of Phyllis with Cameron egging her on, or will the two ladies run into each other in the weeks ahead, where Sharon is so agitated that she gets violent? Without being on her meds, anything is possible!

Y&R spoilers seem to be hinting that disaster is on the horizon with Sharon’s story, so fans will need to stay tuned to the soap to see what happens next!
