The annual General Hospital Fan Club Weekend, returning for what promises to be a fun-filled weekend.
Is scheduled to take place at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Los Angeles Glendale in Glendale, CA, from Friday, August 2 to Sunday, August 4, 2024.
This year’s festivities include a multitude of events featuring cast members from the popular ABC daytime drama series as they meet and greet some of their biggest fans.
The event lineup is expected to be the best ever, with stars such as Maurice Benard.
Bradford Anderson, Kirsten Storms, Donnell Turner, Tajh Bellow, Maura West, Tabyana Ali, Evan Hofer, Cynthia Watros, Jon Lindstrom, Michael Easton.
Josh Swickard and Dominic Zamaprogna, among others, hosting events.
At the same time, the main cast luncheon will see additional members from the show’s current cast appearing, while the past cast event marks the return of several familiar faces.
Speaking of the past cast event, fan club weekend hostess Debbie Morris, who has overseen the fan club for more than 45 years, recently announced that this year’s gathering of actors who’ve previously appeared in Port Charles will mark the final time organizers will host the event.
“I have given this a lot of thought and have decided this will be the last time the GHFC will ever host this event due to many circumstances,” Morris said on Instagram earlier this week. “All I can say is get your ticket to this one soon, as tickets are limited.” Traditionally, the past cast event has occurred every five years, with this year’s event being a rare exception, as last year’s actor strike impacted cast attendance.
“A Stroll Down Memory Lane” (Past Cast Event) will take place on Friday, August 2 from 7:00-10:00 p.m. PT with the likes of Cari Shayne (ex-Karen Wexler), Lesli Kay (ex-Lois Cerullo), Michael Sutton (ex-Stone Cates) and Chad Brannon (Zander Smith) currently scheduled to attend, along with numerous surprise guests set to appear. In addition to the past cast event, at least four other events will take place on Friday, August 2, both in the morning and mid-to-late afternoon.
Current cast members Bradford Anderson and Lisa LoCicero will host an event from 8:00-10:00 a.m. PT, followed by Tabyana Ali and Evan Hofer from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. PT. Later, Tajh Bellow and Donnell Turner will host a joint event from 1:00-3:00 p.m. PT, followed by an event featuring Jon Lindstrom, Alley Mills and Jeff Kober from 3:30-6:00 p.m. PT. The General Hospital Main Cast Luncheon will take place on Saturday, August 3, from 9:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. PT. Sadly, platinum and gold tickets are sold out, but there’s still room for those who want to attend. You can also email [email protected] for the most up-to-date ticket information.
Cynthia Watros and Maura West will host a joint event from 3:30-5:30 p.m. PT. Then, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. PT, Maurice Benard will feature a conversation with Bryan Craig during a live edition of his popular YouTube series, “State of Mind with Maurice Benard.” Joshua Benard, Maurice’s real-life son, is also set to appear.
Two separate events will close out the night, one hosted by Michael Easton and Josh Swickard from 8:30-10:30 p.m. PT and the other hosted by Dominic Zamprogna from 10:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. PT.

After having to reschedule an event appearance due to a scheduling conflict, Josh Kelly will be joining Kirsten Storms for an early morning event on Sunday, August 4, which will take place from 8:00-10:00 a.m. PT.
Kin Shriner and Carolyn Hennesy will host a joint event from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. PT. This will be followed by an event hosted by Rena Sofer and Amanda Setton, scheduled from 1:00-3:00 p.m. PT.
Things get a little tricky starting at 3:30 p.m. PT as there are two events currently scheduled on top of each other, one with Kelly Monaco and the other with Nancy Lee Grahn. The latter is being hosted off-site at the Acapulco Restaurant & Cantina down the street from the Embassy Suites Hotel, while the former will take place within the hotel. Additionally, while Monaco’s event is set to run until 6:30 p.m. PT, Grahn’s event ends at 5:30 p.m. PT.
Closing out the weekend will be an event featuring former “General Hospital” cast member Greg Vaughan (ex-Lucky Spencer; now on “Days of our Lives”) friends, including former cast members Ignacio Serriccho (ex-Diego Alcazar) and Ted King (ex-Luis/Lorenzo Alcazar). Their event will take place from 7:00-9:00 p.m. PT.
